No mention of the type of water you are fishing . Be as precise as possible . Pond lake , stream... clear , muddy , cloudy .. shallow ,deep... wood , rock ,vegetation....

How do you fish a texas rig?
When I got into club fishing I was the only worm'n guy in the club . Fishing in the back of a boat my worm of choice was a six inch jelly worm and 1/4 ounce weight . I had to fish fast and effectively . One two day event i was in the back of the boat while the driver zoomed down the bank rapid firing spinnerbaits . I smoked him and finished 1st. Oh , this dude was mad . Too this day I still fish worms faster than most . I keep enough weight on it to keep it on the bottom and hop it back quickly . If I'm fishing brush I often hop it all the way to the boat . I think at times the bass follow it and hit it away from the cover .

What is a popular opinion you disagree with?
Baitcasting reels are not that difficult to disassemble lube and assemble. The old ambassaduers I could take apart , new reels I'm batting about a .125 .

Detecting bite on a Carolina Rig?
When fishing a Carolina rig I usually dont feel the typical tap . Its a pressure thing for me . I do a lot of swings and misses .

What the fish are eating
Bass have a large menu that include mice , turtles , snakes , insects , birds , worms .. They might be feeding heavily on bait fish but they will still eat other things if the opportunity arises .

I'm definitely a hopper and I start working it as soon as it touches down .

Marker buoys
In a tournament I marked a ledge with buoys about fifty yards a part . This was around 10 o'clock in the morning and there was nobody on it. The lake was fairly new and I never seen anyone there .Within 15 minutes there was a boat on each buoy .

Curly Pondweed
You have to use what will work in the stuff . I've been doing well with a Stanley Ribbet .A Johnson silver minnow is another option .

Marker buoys
I tried that last year . The glow sticks were a little to long and the line kept getting caught . Back to the drawing board .

What hooks do you personally use for these t-rigs?
I only use EWG's on fat baits , otherwise I use an offset . Size depends on the bait .

Discovered how to keep the Ribbit Frog from flipping over
I'm trying different rigging's . I think a plain old barrel swivel would work better than the Parasite clip because the P.C. only has a loop on one end which keeps the toad from sliding down the shaft but does not keep it from sliding past the eye and up the line . A swivel will keep it secured much better and get the lure to last longer, at least I think it would . I have one rigged and ready to go with the swivel .

Discovered how to keep the Ribbit Frog from flipping over
I've been using this hook that I found sometime ago . I think its an eagle Claw .Its sort of a hybrid between a reg. offset and wide gap . It has a wide bend then tilted inward . Without skin hooking it , the point lies in the gap .There are two hooks in the photo to compare . The one I'm referring too is on the bottom . Then I also use the small size parasite clip that keeps the bait from sliding down . There are probably a lot better ways to rig it .. I dont have the best hookup percentage but a lot of those misses are little fish .

Discovered how to keep the Ribbit Frog from flipping over
I dont skin hook the first fish or two because the point lays in the slot , at least it does with the hooks I have been using . After the first fish or two I skin hook it and when that spot gets worn out I skin hook it too the left or right side of the slot . I dont get many fish before the hook rips through the nose and I have to replace the lure . I'd like to see what you have come up with .
