I would build myself a 7 foot casting rod,either a MHX,Phenix,Rainshadow blank.with a new Morrum 1600. that way I get the rod just right for me.

I have some older Ambassadors---1500c,4500 Royale,4500 red.also have 2 original Ugly Stiks. the ones with the mag handles.but I don't collect I use.

been using them on Okeechobee for years when drifting over the grass flats. best thing ever for a controlled drift.

I use a 7-3 abu veritas med act. with a promax 3, 15llb. big game. mono seems work better for me so that's why I use it. braid seems a bit to much for my liking.

that's what I did on my boat. price of a wrap was 2000. so 4 coats of clear and I was good to go. used Lexus clear that is on my wifes car.
