  1. Just tape. Once you spool on top of it, it isn't going to slip (at least it never has for me). I cut off about 1" and stick the line to the tape first, then stick it to the spool.
  2. I sure haven't, but I wouldn't hesitate to use it after reading all the reviews about it. My buddy likes Red Label and I am sure the InvisX is a lot better.
  3. I think you will like it, but I do use KVD L&L so maybe that helps. I went out today and it is the first time I had a problem. Threw a 110 straight into the windy and it got a little wonky on my and I got a backlash. Pulled it out no problem and it was fine. Threw a SPRO Lil John MD a lot today and never had an issue with it.
  4. Piece of electrical has served me well for 20 years.
  5. I get 3 personal days a year to use and they are a "use em or lose em" type deal so I always take a Friday off in November during the rut and 2 Fridays off in the Spring to fish. Well today was one of them and I was blessed with beautiful weather. Got on the water about 8:30 this morning and it was 34 degrees. Didn't hook up till about 10:15 and ended up catching a few. Nothing big, only 2 worth getting their picture taken. A 3.2 and a 3.8, both caught on a Spro Little John MD in Old Fire Tiger.
  6. Factory handle from shimano is $36 for ci4 and $42 for FL, that is if he wanted a factory handle.
  7. What size line are you using? In my experience they would do that when I was using 12 lb mono. I had better luck throwing them on a spinning rod with 15 lb braid. I still don't like them nearly as much as a 110. In fact, I don't throw them at all much any more.
  8. Well, take this for what it's worth because my experience is limited. I have been a braid only guy for a while now. Last year I went back to mono on a couple reels and it was okay. I had tried fluoro once in the past and didn't care for it so this year it was back to braid. That is until I watched an episode of MLF all access and one of them was talking about using Sunline Sniper to throw his moving baits on (chatterbait, spinnerbait, cranks, etc.) Well me being the one to be easily swayed I decided I would give it a shot. After some research I decided on 14 lb Sniper and went all in and bought a 1,200 bulk spool and I put it on 5 reels. I have only been out twice since the switch but so far I am happy with the results. Time will tell, but so far so good.
  9. I don't have that many fingers and toes.
  10. I always thought KK was a budget friendly reel, after looking at TW I was wrong.
  11. For what it's worth, and it may not be a lot, but the Curado K main gear is about $6 more from Shimano than the Bantam/Chronarch MGL main gear. I don't know that cost relates to quality but it is something to consider.
  12. I received 45 all in the original packaging.
  13. I ordered the 3000 Stradic ci4 because I like the t handle better. I am probably in the minority but I like the feel of it better.
  14. Around these parts, that's called "a pond hoppin, fish catching machine"
  15. Ooops, you weren't supposed to read any replies till you guessed anyway LOL
  16. I know, I know. But I won't answer. This is a riddle I use in my classroom as a Geography teacher.
  17. You can get parts directly from Shimano. I have been buying all my parts directly from them here lately. Free shipping and they are usually as cheap or cheaper than anywhere else.
  18. Most of my favorites are no longer a band but I use to rock them back in the day lol Pantera Alice in Chains Pearl Jam Soundgarden
  19. Here's to wishing for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
  20. I do believe they are the same capacity.
  21. HUK - Huck instead of Hook
  22. I received all 45 of mine lol I will look to see exactly what the box says when I get home. I think I remember, but I don't want to tell you wrong.

This is Rodi. Shes a Border Collie/Mini Aussie mix. We have had her about a year and 9 months. She gets to go back to the pond with me when I walk back there to fish but she hasn't been on the boat yet. She too is very high strung and likes to run around, as do most dogs of this breed. I had always said I would NEVER let a dog stay in my house but I will admit she does have her own bed in the house for nights when it gets real cold. She even slips over to the couch and lays on the floor at my feet. My wife gives me a hard time because I have never really been a "dog person" but she says that has changed. She always says "Oh look, she just loves you" when she comes to lay by me. Still not a fan of having her in the house, but when it is real cold outside, I suppose I don't mind.
  24. 9 at the console, 7 at the bow, leave map card in to use the map features included. There are maps pre-loaded, but the cards maps "should" be better.
