He went through some real tough times in his life (drug addiction) and finally got clean. I hadn't talked to him in a while so I just sent him a text and told him I was proud of him and so happy to see the man he has become. The response I got brought me to tears. So, think about someone you know who might need a text or message that just says you care about them and are proud of them, you never know.

I would NEVER order anything on backorder from TW. I did ONCE, and I learned my lesson. That being said, it's more than likely not their fault. They get told a date from a manufacturer and they put it on their site. Then they are informed it has changed, so they change it.

I worked many accidents along road ways and I was always making sure I was well aware of oncoming traffic and would make sure I got out of THEIR way and didn't count on them to get out of MY way. I see these guys all the time almost stepping out in traffic, I suppose assuming the other person is paying attention. I do not give the average driver that much credit. I would hate to work on or near busy highways daily. Way too many idiots on the road.

I don't know, I tell my kids all the time, it depends on the day on which one I like best. LOL

Nope, big difference though in needing to win to survive as opposed to winning just gives you more money. Some guys had financial backing to give it a go and were successful, while there are hundreds of guys who tried it and failed. There is no way I would take a chance, no matter how good I thought I was.

I live out in the middle of the sticks. We have tried every internet available I think. We have found nothing that works for all 6 of us. The last few months we have had 4 hotspots in our house that we are paying $320 a month for. Last year, around Jan or so we signed up for Starlink. We got our equipment today and set it up outside (not permanent) just to see how it performs. I ran a speed test using my T-Mobile hotspot and my download speed was 1.76 Mbps, I then ran it after connecting to Starlink and it ran 26 Mbps. My son is gettin 39 Mbps on his PS4. If you live in an area and have to rely on satellite or mobile data, I would strongly consider Starlink. *I am NOT paid by Elon Musk (but if he would like to send me money, I will accept it) LOL

I have some mental health issues that seem to be getting worse as I get older. I am experiencing more anxiety than when I was younger. As a teacher, I have a hard time teaching some days because I feel like crawling in a hole. But, I have to do my job. I feel the same with coaching. I also, don't fish near as much as I did. Mainly because I am spending more time with my family, but also because sometimes it doesn't seem worth the effort. I tried meds and never could find one that didn't have some side effect that made it just not worth it. I am also very OCD and like for everything to be organized and neat and that too seems to be getting worse. Now, I have a serious career decision to make, which isn't making anything better. LOL
