Going for most generic post of the year? Might be the winner so far.

Received a Free Boat, has a recall for 'LEVEL FLOTATION'
Looks like someone needed to get the junk out of their yard and you agreed to take it.

From gill plate to dinner plate.
I have ate more LMB than most people I know of combined. Some would have me burned at the stake if they knew. I haven't had one in probably 15 years or so but when I was in college a good fish fry with some fried taters and corn on the cob was a lot better than Ramen. LOL

Curado MGL vs SLX MGL
I have both, the Curado just has a better feel to it for some reason. The SLX is a great lil reel as well. You can find the SLX MGL for around $125, the cheapest I found the Curado MGL was $185.

ARMED FORCES DAY ~
I wish I would have understood what it meant to serve this country when I was younger. I didn't have an understanding till I was in my 30's, by then it was too late for me. I appreciate anyone who has ever made the decision to join the armed forces and make the sacrifices they have made. My son is 15 years old and if he ever tells me hw plans to join a branch of the armed forces you better believe I would be one proud Dad. Thank you to all of those who have served!!!!!!

New reel
I think they are cool. Go catch some fish with it and tell us what you think.

Garmin Force or Terrova and save the cash?
Yet, 99% of bass anglers use a recessed foot tray. A tray is way easier on your back, even with the Terrova. I have done both,

Absolute best all-purpose chatterbait trailer
Well, after just a few posts you will see everyone has a different opinion. I sometimes prefer a paddletail like a rage swimmer or fat impact and sometimes prefer a zako or blade minnow. Your best bet is to experiment and decide what works best for you.

Yes, another Scale Q
Probably about 6 months or so. I think it was @A-Jay who recommended them and I have found them to be very reliable. The Rapala's seemed to be hit or miss on turning on every time or the screen being barely visible and the Berkley's weighed the exact same milk jug just a lil bit different when I tested it.

Yes, another Scale Q
I have 3 sets. The Rapala 50lb, Accu cull, and Berkley. I like the Accu cull bests. I am sure there are better options in your price range though.

Yes, another Scale Q
Your fish will weigh a lot more without a set of scales.

Garmin Force or Terrova and save the cash?
The foot pedal is awful. It is basically flat and takes a lot of getting used to. It takes more pressure to turn the motor than it should. The response time is also pretty slow. The deploy system isn't too bad, but stowing it is a PIA. If there is a good chop on the water, you stand the chance of getting tossed in trying to bend over and grab the head to pull it out of the water. If you aren't using a HB graph and need to attach a transducer, good luck. Here is a video of how "neat" it is

Garmin Force or Terrova and save the cash?
I went with the Terrova over the Ultrex. I used it for about 9 months or so and then bought an Ultrex. If you think for one second that you would prefer the Force, get it now.

1st Tournament as Captain
Have a few places in mind where you want to fish and start by asking your Dad where he would like to fish. If he chooses a spot that you had in mind, then go there. Do NOT tell him you thought that was a good spot before you fish it. Do this throughout the day and if you are catching fish you can always say, "I had this spot in mind". If at the end of the day you don't catch many, you can always say, "Well you picked the spots."

Actual good finds at pawnshops/thrift stores?
This^^^^^ Long gone are the days of pawn shop "deals" since they can look on ebay and see what they can get for it there.

Medium Fast, Medium Light Fast, or Medium Light Xtra Fast spinning setup
I would go ML F as a do-it-all approach. I don't fish a lot of spinning gear. I have a ML and a M and if I could only have one, I think the ML would do the job. I use 15lb braid on it FWIW.

Medium Fast, Medium Light Fast, or Medium Light Xtra Fast spinning setup
I assume you are targeting bass? Fishing near any cover? What weights do you plan to use? How deep do you plan to fish? Anything under a 3/16 I would go ML, anything 3/16 - 1/4 I would go M, 3/8 + MH I like a 2500 or 3000 size reel.
