I have fished a jig on a budddies boat with that same rod. I liked it... its more like a mag med heavy..its a great jig rod. My only concerns would be breakage...but at that price...go for it... abu does stand behind their product.

Its a control thing. I dont mind fishing in the back of a friends boat and i dont mind letting one my close friends take the bow of my boat while i fish from behind. Now wiith that said, the guys i fish with are pretty much on the same wave length as me and our styles and miind set are the same...its not like giving up my way of fishing when im in the back...

I can put two co angler on mine too.

Thats when illl put a rattle on a big monstrosity of a jig with a full size 5 inch craw ttrailer. I also like texas riggin with a heavy weight.....and a bulky bait that moves a little water.

Def dont need that much. I get the D&M Custom baits Pirhana and its 7.99 i think ive got 5 of them. Being a new technique, i would go for low cost quality chatterbaits and ease your way into it and let your success decide weatherr you want to spend that much. I would find sales for the orginal chatterbait, ( they re on sale all the time) buy three or four in your favorite colors and go from there.

I havent actually sat down and made an educated opinion about how to solve the problem. So, im going save my assinine ideas until i come up with a reasonable plan. The two paragraphs you posted... i left them out because i agreed with that part. I focused my rant on things i didnt agree with.

Do you expect to get a crappy meal at resturant just because the people there dont get paid much, and probably have ZERO INCENTIVES? Cops, firemen, game wardens, EMS personell all know what they sign up for and what the money is. And yes there is are incentives, one and is called pride and the other is promotion. Not all entities are super political. I agree that the pay and benefits need to be better. Bonuses and gratuities to wardens for more production..ILLEGAL and it can lead to corruption. Production based pay and quotas are illegal. Bonus for x number of tickets or arrests are illegal. Reward the public for doing their civic duty to place that they fish...thats laughable. Why bribe people to do the right thing when you should demand it! I repsect you opinions and a couple them were well thought, however, i do not agree. Just two cents from a an ex cop, EMT, now working in Lake Management.

Ok. I use a 695 Endurance for shallow crankin and lipless cranks. Love the heavy actions for that application. But i throw more of the larger/heavier shallow cranks than the lighter ones. Maybe a lighter action like a 3 or 4 power would suit what you need. I almost pulled the trigger on one of those rods when they were selling for 100... but right now, i justncant justify another rod. Im about rodded out right now... but thanks for letting me know.

I want a boarding ladder too. When it gets in to the heat of the summer, i like to take a swim in deep water but hate try to get back in. Thats right, i take 5min swim breaks during fishin.

As long as they follow the rules of the waters and limits, it is their right/privilege to fish and keep fish. If they do not, simply remind them that what they are doing is illegal. Otherwise, report them and move to a better spot. Playing dirty tricks is childish. CPBass, i do not judge you for what you did, but i do not condone it. Turn the other cheek, and report them. At that point you are done until law enofrcement wishes to speak to you again. This day and time, eating fish that you catch is probably a good idea. Its cheap, and good for you, (good source of protein and omega 3)

Nah... im more of a marlboro man. On occasion ill smoke or chew on a cheap cigar. And yes ill smoke a cheap cigar while i fish.

I dont have a favorite. I love all of my "kids" the same. Lol After all, I carry 15. Most of my rods come from the same rod company and the others others are of equal quality and i try to use them all to their strengths,as well as using premium terminal tackle so I get really good performance from all of them. I have a couple go to rods, but really none more favored than the rest.

4/0 or 5/0 Superline EWG. 1. Twitch, twitch, pause, twitch,twitch, hard twitch, pause, REPEAT 2. Dead stick- wait till its on bottom, light a cigarette, hard twitch, REPEAT Its not an exact science....not for me anyhow.

I think those are the rods that Hank Cherry. (BASS nation fisherman and classic qualifier) is using this year. He fished denali at the classic anyway. they seem to have mainly positive reviews on TW. Hank used to be sponsored bh Cashion.
