What Is The Worst Thing You've Ever Eaten?
I thought about using chocolate milk once for Mac and cheese but decided against it.

Siebert Outdoor....what Makes Them So Good?
It's just an excellent product at a very good price. Also being a nice guy and having great customer service doesn't ever hurt. I bought 100 bare jig heads and each one of them are perfect as far as the pourings go. No extra lead anywhere and all the weed guards tightly grouped. The finish is great too. No clogged line ties.

What Is The Worst Thing You've Ever Eaten?
I love scrapple. Fry it up crispy on both sides. So good. I tried these baby octopus at a Chinese place once. So far that's the worst thing I've eaten. Oh and something called cracklings when I lived in Ga. They were terrible.

Jeff Gordon Coming Out Hoax
I'm not a NASCAR fan so I don't know anything about this but here is the link for anyone interested in reading it. It's apparently a hoax that was started recently. http://www.empiresports.co/jeff-gordon-and-stephen-rhodes-confirm-homosexual-relationship-nascar-fans-outraged/#.UzMiOegRDM1.facebook

Lowrance Mark 5X Pro
It seems to be reading the bottom correctly. Yes I don't see any arches. I'll be catching fish though.

Kistler Pro Series Vs Denali Jadewood
I bought 4 Denali rods and only kept 1. Sold the others before I even tried them. They all varied in power and series. Each one of them were tip heavy to me except the 1 I kept which is a 7' med/mod crankbait rod. I had 2 Jadewood's,Rosewood, and Kovert. I don't know if I'm just spoiled by having very well balanced combos or what but these were not it for me. I had some of Kistlers older model magnesium TS rods and they were very nice. I would buy a kistler over a Denali personally.

Lowrance Mark 5X Pro
I'm having trouble with getting fish arches to show up. There's a fish Id function but it's not optimal. I believe it's a settings problem but I could be wrong. I'm just running it on auto currently. So if you have any tips or manual settings that I could try out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Daiwa Tatula And Curado 300E
Different strokes for different folks. Everyone's opinion varies. I fished a tatula on a 7' mh tatula rod and thought it was a nice balanced combo. I have my tatula r on a 775 endurance and it's extremely well balanced for a flipping combo.

Baitcaster Reel Cleaning
I've been using gear oil myself thanks to DVT's tip. Before that it was a thin coating of marine grease but the gear oil is much better.

New Wilderness Rids 115X Console Not So Fish Finder Ready
A cheap solution would be to buy a rubber plug/grommet from a parts store that's for a 1" hole. The kind with the lip underneath. Then drill a hole in the center large enough for the cable to fit in. Cut it with a razor blade to the edge so you can put it around the cable. Once you fit it into the 1" hole it will not come out but I always use a little rtv on the back just to be safe. It cleans up easily too if you ever need to remove it. I've done this a lot when passing wires through the firewall of cars for certain gauges or other things. One like this.

Convince Me To Use Flouro?
^^^ No need to be harsh about it. Op give it another shot. You'll love the slack line sensitivity of fluoro. Though sometimes it's not for everyone. Only you can decide that part.

Powell Timax Reviews
I'm a Powell fan and that's one thing that really helped me like them even more besides being a great rod. You can talk with the owner of the company and in my experiences he hasn't tried to be a salesman once. He's always helpful and nice anytime I've called. Heck we've just bs'd a few times and got totally sidetracked on what we initially started talking about.

Upgrading Bearings - Shimano Reels, What Is In There Originally
You have your opinion and we all have ours. Though you're seemingly out numbered you still want to argue with people. Some that make a living off cleaning reels. Next you're going to tell us that free spool videos actually mean something.

Aftermarket Cork Handle Knobs For Casting Reels?
Yes the Daiwa handle will fit a Lews.

Why do we have 2 threads going on the same topic only a few lines apart.

I'm a big fan of purple power at full strength around the garage but it'll do a number on your hands.

Aftermarket Cork Handle Knobs For Casting Reels?
Lews have a screw. The only problem is every company has a different length or diameter post. Daiwa knobs won't fit a Lews or abu, ect.

Swimbait Line?
Most of the guys throwing the larger swimbaits only use #20-25. I'm talking in the 3-6oz range. You'd be fine with #15.

Beat My Personal Best Today.....twice..
Congrats on catching 2 good fish in the same day. As for the weights. Well you didn't weigh it so you can't be sure really. They generally never weigh what you think once they hit the scales. Look at the 9lb Pb in this thread at the top of the page. It's a lot bigger then your '8.5' Either way nice fish sir.
