  1. I have it. It made a small difference but not much.
  2. That's the phone I'm talking about. It sucks!
  3. Nope nothing but surf the web or Facebook. Everything is turned off. Wifi, location services, brightness at 32,clear all things after I'm done. It's terrible! I have the 5 also. My charging habits are good. I've had multiple people complain about this.
  4. Now 56% less then an hour later.
  5. Since you don't own an iphone yet get the 5s. I'll warn you that the battery life SUCKS! Everyone I know has this complaint. Mines been unplugged for 3hrs and barely been used and I'm already at 70% I'll have to charge it a bit by 9-10pm or it'll die by the time I'm ready for bed.
  6. I owned one too. IMO it's junk compared compared to the rest of the line up. Yes it worked but it didn't feel as good to me.
  7. Lews tournament pro, bb1 or tournament speed spool. The mg is junk. You can get the tournament pro from eBay for what you want to spend. I don't know anything about the new diawa. I have a td-z and steez plus a lexa. The lexa is ok but not nearly as good as the Lews. I've owned all of them so it's first hand advice.
  8. My local guy has the rod so I got that covered but there is a Cardiff 301 in the flea market I'm looking at.
  9. Yeah it's 11.6 but it was also out of a farm pond. Same with the old record that lasted 30yrs. I'm looking at $200 for a combo plus another $100 for a couple baits to try out.
  10. I think I already know the answer but I just want to double check. I'd be fine using a 7'6 daiwa musky rod correct? 2-8oz I've never used big swimbaits and just want a cheap combo to get started. Especially considering all the baits I'd still have to buy just to get a good starter set put together. Gonna pair it with a Cardiff 301a and #65 braid.
  11. I close everything out after I'm done using it. There's never any open apps in the background. Heck I delete messages and numbers as soon as I'm done sending/calling
  12. The folder color is based on your background image.
  13. I'm updated. It's a good update so far. Nothing major other then appearance but we do have a flashlight now. That's my favorite part. On a side note. I'm an Apple guy and I hate the iphone 5. It's got minor improvements over the 4s but nothing spectacular really other then the camera. THE BATTERY LIFE IS THE WORST OF ANY IPHONE I'VE OWNED. This is a huge complaint from many many people. The 5s makes no mention of this. Actually read the new iOS makes it worse. I would of gladly stuck with my 4s had I known this before hand. The 5s isn't a huge improvement over the 5 either. The 5 to 5s is like the 4 to 4s. The only reason I ever upgrade is because I can sell my old iphone for what it costs to get the newest version.
  14. I run Sunline sniper on everything but I did try the invisx at one point. Sounds like it'll be fine.
  15. Yeah 12" isn't anything to go after a combo. Heck if you would of dove right away you could of gotten it on first try possibly.
  16. My local Walmart used to carry it but doesn't any longer so to try it I have to order it from eBay. Anyways my question is about how much stretch it has. Since it's a co polymer how much more when compared to a good fluorocarbon? I'm interested in the 15lb
  17. Deep creek lake was doing good today. I pretty much threw a kvd 2.5 and megastrike spinnerbait the whole day. Managed 2 sm 2lm 1 nice perch and more pickerel then I care to count.
  18. I might run into you there 'not literally'Hoping to finally get to try my new boat out after all this work I've been doing to it. Just a heads up. There is a tournament Saturday morning so it'll be fished pretty hard.
  19. A 6:3:1 ratio is pretty standard for a good all around retrieve. If it's your elbow that's feeling it then you need to fish more lol. When I first started throwing darts my elbow would get so sore from playing league that night and stick around for a day or 2. After practicing everyday for 30 minutes it doesn't happen anymore unless I take a break for a few weeks.
  20. Anyone have a service manual they could send me the link and sync procedure? I'm re building the carbs on the boat I just bought. It hasn't seen water in 5yrs. I've already replaced the impeller and housing and this is my next step. I ordered a factory service manual already but I'm hoping to be able to get it fixed by the weekend if I can. Thanks in advance BR
  21. I buy from Alleys myself. Prices are really good. Never had any issues with fraying.
  22. I just did this on the exact same trolling motor. I took 10" off mine. It's stupid simple and took all of 20 minutes from start to finish. Mine was non auto pilot so you'll have a few more wires. Here is what I did though... Pull the head. Disconnect 2 spade terminals. Mark 10" down the shaft. Insert a small pipe over the wires and push it down past your mark. Cut it off with a hacksaw. File it down. Cut wires shorter. Put 2 terminals on. Set head down on and mark the whole. Drill a pilot hole. Then drill through that with a 3/16 bit. Hook the wires up. Set head back on and align the holes. Put bolt through and tighten down. You're finished.
  23. 87 monark bass 190 19ft glass with evinrude 150 My question is I don't see a harness with battery terminals that hooks up to run the console switches ect. I have the starting battery hooked up and installed the trolling motor plus the 2 batteries for 24v. All that stuff works but no switches turn anything on.
  24. Please see above post. I bought a 24v 70# minnkota powerdrive v2
