I have the clear US in 6/8/10 The pic I posted in show and tell of my recon/tdz combo has #6 US on it. You can see what they say about being milky. I don't find it to be bad line though. Breaking strength is lower on it. I emailed yozuri about that about a year ago. It was $18 for 3 - 600yd spools so I decided to try it.

I don't find boca orange seal abec 7 bearings to be a great improvement over a properly cleaned and lubed stock bearing. The only reel I was able to see a noticeable difference in was my bfs reel for 'light' baits. A $25 professional servicing of your reel would be money better spent. I have abec 7's in all my reels. I swap them out because I like to tinker with things and they don't cost me anything so why not do it if they're free. If I had to pay for them though I wouldn't have them.

It's a great copoly line. I use #6-12 on a regular basis. It's actually not any thicker than most of your #12 mono lines from other companies but the #12 has a breaking strength of 19lbs. Yz Hybrid #12 = .013 trilene xl #12 = .013 big game #12 = .014 stren orig. #12 = .013

@Bluebasser86 I've been fishing that reel for a couple of years now. For $75 it's tough to beat. It's super light and has a nice drag. Okuma has great cs too should you ever need it.

The Shimano Zodias rod is made in China. I wouldn't be afraid to purchase that rod. As for reels just like Raul said... If it's from a top company but made in China it's still a quality product. All those others for $25 or so I would skip over.

I just make it the length I want for the rod it's going on so they'll fit how I want.

Just once so far. Weather decided to get cold again. Hopefully the report doesn't change and I'll be out next weekend. Pitching jigs and other plastics with 1/2oz weight. Open water football jigs and apparently it makes a great frog rod so those too

Now on its new permanent home. Orochi XX Perfect Pitch Balance is very good for a rod of its power rating.

It's a woven material so it has a bit of stretch to it. You'll be fine with the 1" though. I went with 3/4 because most of my rods are semi micro guides. The ones I bought are 1" and fit fine on all my rods.

Just use their sniper super fc. It's priced decent and it's a quality fluoro line.

Pull out on the brake tab for on and push in for off. You'll hear a slight click when you do it. That reel has 4 on and 2 off from what I see. Really hard to tell with the angle. Isn't the G model externally adjusted though? I guess you might still be able to turn some brake tabs off. Call Lews and ask.

Haven't fished a zillion rod but the regular taper on the Tatula rod I had was more mod/fast slightly more on the fast side. My friend just switched all his Tatula rods for Zillions. I can ask him if they fish the same.

Exactly! It's fishing and we do it because we enjoy it. When we float the river in the kayaks all I take is a spinning rod. It's just easier with trying to keep yourself in an area ect ect

They got a good laugh out of it on TP also. I posted it this morning on there. Kids these days are so sensitive. It's too bad Walmart doesn't sell a sense of humor or tougher skin. It was clearly all in fun but only the two of you didn't get that part. I'll be sure to clarify it for y'all next time.

You mean like this? Don't forget adding aftermarket knobs and a non stock drag star, Yeah, it was enough money one could of bought themselves a Duckett Ghost or two. I'd rather buy more parts though. Meanwhile on another forum you've provided us with entertainment kid.

They're $70 with standard Shimano knobs. Not hardly a lot of money when compared to something like an Rcs. You're paying for a quality product backed by a good company. Not some mass produced Chinese handles. For some it is considered a lot of money and they have to stick with what they can afford though.

^^^ that means put the spinning rod down and use your casting gear more. That's how you gain accuracy by practice.

Not new at all. They've been doing it for years. A 5" senko is not what alot would consider finesse. Now a 3" senko or flick shake is more like it.

A 5" senko weighs 3/8oz without a hook. Plenty heavy for a medium casting rod. Now a 3" senko you'd wanna have a light or possibly medium light rod. Finesse tackle on light line and light rods is just more fun. I don't touch a spinning rod unless I'm using a drop shot. I avoid that technique if I can so I don't have to use it. The lighter the spool the better it will perform with light baits. You just have to figure out what you want to throw weighs. I have a px68 on my ML rod and a tdz 103 with finesse spool on my L rod. Not my catch but buzzedbait caught this the other day on a wacky senko using his ML rod and a curado 51e with yumeya finesse spool.
