Tatulas On Sale At Cabela's - Free Shipping
Same here when I ordered mine. I have a lot of mh rods already so I didn't need another. I sold it to my friend. He enjoys it though.

Tatulas On Sale At Cabela's - Free Shipping
For those interested it might be labeled as a medium, but it's a medium heavy. Lure ratings are up to 3/4 which is typical mh ratings. I had this rod for a short time. It definitely fishes like mh rod. Makes for a decent plastics rod. Just a heads for anyone thinking about grabbing one.

My New “Budget” Baitcaster Setup
Heck of a pickup on that combo. I scored a great deal on a 40" vizio once do to it being misspelled.

New Alphas Sv105L And Japanese Instruction Sheet...
The Ryoga Shrapnel uses a 2 pin centrifugal brake system that is non adjustable. You can swap out the plastic brake tabs for the larger ones, but I don't know where to get them.

Lightweight Spinning Reel
Okuma RTX 25 Weighs just under 7 ounces I picked mine up for $70 new When we float the river for smallies I take 1 combo and that's this one. Has plenty of days on it where I caught 30-50 fish. It's been dunked, fallen overboard, ect. Still smooth and works great. Has an awesome drag on it too. We all know how strong a river smallie can be. You can step up to the 30 size if you want more total drag. Both reels weigh the same still. I've been very impressed with it over the past 1.5 years.

For All Og Zillion Lovers...
I'm glad they kept the look of the original. The OGZ is about as bulletproof as they come. I'll be picking up the SV spool for mine more than likely. Not sure I wanna take out the 100m spool though. It works great in that platform.

Do You Have Any Real World Experience With These Rods? (Zillion, Poison Adrena, Avid)
Come on,Matt. We all know that you have no first hand experience.

Denali Or Cashion?
You're just offering an opinion based on things that you read on the internet with no real first hand experience. Personally I would at least pre face my statement with something. Ex: From what I've read, or I've never owned either...

Denali Or Cashion?
I remember you saying this once before also. I admittedly never paid too close of attention to the build quality. The guides were straight and it balanced well. I fon't recall anything other than that. 3/4 Denalis that I had were extremely tip heavy. I sold them all off as quickly as I could.

Denali Or Cashion?
^^^ how many of either have you owned? I think Cashion offers a nice rod. I owned the 6'9 mh for about 2yrs. Used it for everything.

Major Difference In Cheap Reels And Expensive Ones (Other Than Gear Ratio)
Minimal at best. A $90 Tatula casts just as far as my megabass or steez reels.

Major Difference In Cheap Reels And Expensive Ones (Other Than Gear Ratio)
If you're ruining a reel in a years time then there's an issue. Likely not with the reel either.

Major Difference In Cheap Reels And Expensive Ones (Other Than Gear Ratio)
My friend has a black max 2 along with other more expensive Abu reels. Including a revo stx that I bought him as a gift. I've heard him say a few times that he really likes the black max.

Electrical Tape For Backing?
When you buy a $40 spool of fluoro it's nice to be able to spool more than 1 reel with it. A 200 yard spool of line will do 3 reels for me. You aren't making casts over 50 yards. So the rest is just wasted good line. Also braid is known to slip on the spool. Backing solves that issue too. I use 2 wraps of electrical tape on my spools that don't hold much line. It lets the braid bite in so you don't have to worry about any backing or slipping.

Good looking combo. The build quality is nice. You got a steal on that one also. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. I had the 7' mh/f blc model for a minute. I had to sell it because it I didn't like it. Definitely a decent $150 rod.

New Handle For Diana Tatula R..advise?
Haha you don't need an excuse. Just remember that you're only adding 5mm in each direction. Yes, you will be able to tell its longer than the stock handle, but it's not a huge difference. I have a 100mm carbon handle for Daiwas that I'd sell you if you're interested. I bought it to try out but 90mm is my sweet spot.
