  7. I usually go with about 5-6 feet. I didn't like nor did I want to reel the knot into the guides (Albright)...I did that in the gin clear water of the gulf of mexico for years with no issue. on some occasions I was down to less than 10inches of leader and I still caught fish I used red power pro with 20# or 15# seagar invisx as a leader for Redfish, snook and trout when I was after Tarpon it was a 50# leader
  8. it's very nice...super sensitive, but it took a bit of getting used to with the extra 3 inches of total length believe it or not. the first day out I was slightly off target with it. not sure if it was me being used to a 7ft rod or operator error lol the rod is slightly stiffer when compared to my other rods (Criox LTB MH, Prem MH, Loomis GL2 MH)
  9. I want you to tell me that Lews is gonna come out with a lefty Team not that I dislike my Tourny Pro but I have been lusting over the Team for two years now lol
  10. I have the *** black 7'3 MHF with a Lews TP 7.1:1...I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
  11. I like three colors when it comes to deep crankin 1. Tenessee Shad 2. Chart/black back 3. Citrus shad I like to find off shore humps and or rockpiles but I especially like running them as close to a steep drop as can making sure I am hitting the bottom. I also love stading timber. I like to bounce 6XDs off from fallen or standing trees in 15-20ft of water I will also parallel cliffs if the lake presents them
  12. I have a Laser SL Crankbait (micro guide) 7'0 M rod. I really like it. I got rid a St Croix Mojo crankbait for the lews. so far it performs great and it lighter and better balanced that the Mojo was
  13. I have both and I favor neither over the other lol my two rods with micros were bought because of the blank...the micros didn't matter to me one is a LTB 7'1 MH Jig/Spinnerbait and the other is a Lews Crankbait rod
  14. my poor GL2 got into a fight with a celing fan thanks to my wife...didn't break, but the there is a mark on the back side of the tip...I've put many fish in the boat with it since the hit but I am sure it's gonna pop one of these days
