Dropping Down In Line Size.
Hey Raul, are you talkin about abrasion resistance? Why would thinner line be greater? Thanks

Dropping Down In Line Size.
Looking for some thoughts from folks who have dropped down in line size. What are some of the advantages? I know less drag will allow cranks to dive deeper, but does the less drag increase sensitivity on deep jigs/plastics? Do you get more bites? Thanks. I am thinking about going down to 12lb for my jig/plastics from 15/17.

Braid Color?
I like white, easy for line watching. I also use a green/brown marker for the last few feet. But I think that's more for me than the fish. I don't think they care.

Flippin....braid Or Flouro?
50 lb Braid or 17 lb Mccoy copolymer for pitching for me. Both are low memory which I like for pitching. Now, I think I will go back to fluoro when fishing deep open water. Just my two cents, and probably worth less than that.

I stopped in a local bait store today and the man asks how he can help. I ask where are the tubes. He asks for crappie... I say Bass. He says "I dont have many..... those are out of favor right now." I'm hoping he meant with anglers and not the bass, lol. I bought a bag of neon Black and headed out, but it made me wonder though. Why do successful lures fall out of favor with anglers? Both of mine were also unsecured in the big triangular boxes. Luckily everything was ok. That's the worst packing job I've ever seen.- Couple Of Questions About Tubes...
Google "Stupid Rig Tube" and you'll find a way to rig tubes with a jighead (to get that spiral fall) and keep it weedless. Best of both worlds. I think I saw it mentioned on another thread here. I haven't tried it yet but will as soon as I can get out.- Winter Bass Fishing

I had a lot of success with Berkleys Power Hawg this year. Texas or Carolina rig. Mostly Texas. Once the head rips too much, I cut it down and throw it on a jig.- Fluro For Spinnerbaits?
I don't think the cost justifies the advantages. I use Copolymer for spinnerbaits.- Bama
