  1. It does not show up on firefox for me, but it does on IE. Maybe it is where u got it from?
  2. My myspace works fine and always has with firefox. Maybe there are some plugins that you need? BTW, what is your username for it LBH?
  3. Thanks Other! Everything seems to be faster, although the forums are still slow. Oh well, the forums speed is worth it becasue of the great info...

I love tabbed browsing! I have 4 tabs up right now instead of 4 separate windows like IE would have.
  5. Look for mudlines in the water and fish the edges of those. Bass like to ambush prey darting in and out of the mudlines.
  6. Man, that is awesome! I wass wonderin when you would come back with a monster report. We should call you Farmer Chris, because you're always holding hogs!
  7. My dog leaves surprises in our backyard all the time . Nice fish though, pretty coloration.
  8. Thats a good point. I guess it's sort of like shoe sizes, they seem a little different with different companies. I still say buy the stuff
  9. I use red hooks but I dont really know if they make much of a difference. I still buy them anyway because the red does make them easier to spot if I drop them or if they get snagged on underwater cover.
  10. Wow, where were you fishing? The strippers in Atlanta only hit 20 dollar bills ;D (couldnt help it). That is a bummer though Avid. The biggest bass i have lost was a 10+ that broke the line right as i had it on the bank. If the bank wasnt so steep, it wouldnt have rolled back into the lake! That loss still haunts me to this day...
  11. Ditto with Burley. After using the same line for over half a year, catching bass, gar and giant branches, I went to the keys and caught a 4 foot barracuda on the same line. I also think it is also a bit thinner. I use 50 pound test which it says is diameter of 10lb mono, as opposed to 50lb braid;12lb mono with other companies.
  12. Turn it into a keychain. Save the hooks and make it a cool keychain pendant. That's what i did with a shiny blue broken jerkbait i found a few months back. You also may meet some more fellow bassers if they see you holding it.
  13. I finally saw the dancin eel yesteday while fishing with my friend. He caught 2 bass with it but we caught more with fat ikas. The action does look good though and i think they are good under certain situations
  14. He didnt get me. What did he do?
  15. do you know what the article was about?
  16. Today I caught a 2 pounder on the fat ika and a warmouth. He pretty much got his mouth stuck around the end of the bait. ;D
  17. I've had similar experiences also. My friend is convinced that Senko77 is a 40 year old man and will rape me when we finally meet up to fish. ;D
  18. In Ga you can print them at purchase as well. I printed 3 because im prone to getting one lost or wet...
  19. The use of gloves is arguable because there is a risk of getting your glove snagged and having your hand trapped. Without gloves you could lose fingers or have the meat raked off you hand however, so the choice is yours. I suggest going with some long sleeved kevlar gloves, but I heve never noodled... Make sure you have a partner because large catfish have killed many people by pulling them underwater. Also do some probing in the holes with a rod or stick so you dont get bit by a turtle snake muskrat or beaver. Best of luck, be safe and post some pics!
  20. I made a similar mistake when I caught my first bowfin. I didnt know what it was so I lipped it to get the hook out because i saw no real teeth. Right when i get my hand in there the "gums" retracted and it bit down and I found myself with some decent sized holes in the thumb. Extreme 1018, nine pounds is a fine bowfin, and a noteworthy catch on 8 pound test considering how hard they fight.

As of today in Atlanta, the pollen count was 5,937 ppm. The whole city is dusted yellow and you can even see the pollen in the air. Car washes are offering free re-washes because cars are getting yellow again within a day! Is the pollen in the southeast affecting anyone's allergies and ability to fish? Fortunately I dont get affected much, but I know some people are really having a problem with this insane yellow dusting...
  22. go to youtube and type "dbsk balloon". click the first link. (One with guy in red suit)
  23. While it is a bummer that the secret is getting out, just be thankful that we learned it almost a year earlier than everyone else. And I'm confident that we will learn about plenty more new lures/tricks before the others.
  24. Thats awesome! Did it put up a good fight?
  25. That is a picture of a cane toad, one of the largest toads in the world. They eat a few small vertebrates but mostly invertebrates. They are poisonous, but that means they can only hurt you if ingested. As far as the chasing and capturing, it is perfecrtly safe for humans to capture, but the toad may not like it. Don't worry they are not vicious amphibians, just fat ones.
