  1. Peyton just doesnt look right this year. He's about 20 pounds lighter and his confidence is lacking. I dont understand why we dont run the ball more either. Also, why is everybody so down on Jackson, there were times today he was getting bood when it wasnt even his fault. From the last drive of the first half on, I thought he looked pretty good.
  2. I throw flourocarbon at times to get the bait down a bit deeper faster because it sinks, but some people have management problems with flourocarbons. I use Vicous flourocarbon and really like it.
  3. the whole reason I like the vicous flourocarbon is because 1. it's relatively inexpensive. 2. My experience with other flourocarbons is that it breaks at the knot (especially vanish). 3. This stuff really seems to be strong and I have just had really good luck with it this year. I really dont have manageability problems with it because I use 6 or 8 lb. test most of the time.
  4. your talking two totally different lines, but to answer your question. Vicous flourocarbon is my favorite right now.
  5. fenwick hmg spinning rod and shimano sahara 2500. Caught on a shakey head. 11.8oz
  6. I really like my kistler magnesium jig and toad special. I would pair it up with a revo or shimano for that price range. Good Luck
  7. man, you look prepared for everything in that pic with the ipod, belt, and all. Thats a good bass for a new neigborhood (guessing by the houses). Oh and the soda can on the hip is great. Good job.
  8. I have not had it while casting, but there have been times when setting the hook with my spinning rig, that I get a sharp pain in my right elbow. I have always thought it was from years of pitching in baseball, but it only happens once in a while.
  9. We have a 1 pound penalty and you loose 10 points in the standings. I have only lost one fish in a tournament and I really try to take care of them, but those 10 hour days can be tough when the temp is in the 90's
  10. Flooded as hell. I talked to a buddy who fished it last week and said the bite was tough. He also said there were kids swimming on a basketball court over at cutright ramp.
  11. yeah pont that summary is good, however I have been disapointed at Raccoon the last few outings, but absolutely love Patoka. Thanks for asking about the club, I am currently sitting 6th in the standings and am learning a ton my first year. They are quality bunch of guys too. I am fishing Hardy next week and have pre-fished it a few times already, so I am getting pumped about this one. I will let you guys know how it goes.
  12. geist resevoir is close and is full of bass. The only downfall is the launch fees. If you go early on the weekends and leave by 11, I think its only 10 bucks or so.
  13. I think those look great. Keep up the good work
  14. I would laugh my butt off watching somebody try to reel above water with head underwater watching the bait, with goggles on. Why not just watch it from above? ;D
  15. I think its pretty cool. how did you get that?
  16. great pics, I would have loved to been there.
  17. dont waste your money on NO-Explode, you can drink a crap load of coffee before workout and get the same effect. Your best bet is to eat 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight a day lift and rest. Hard work and time are the only ways to do it right.
  18. I personally like the rick clunn rods compared to the others, the only downside is that it feels a bit heavy.
  19. animalpaintball.com has some cool stuff. Plus you can design your own.
  20. I am using a pair of solar bat sleeks right now with amber lens. They were only like 60 bucks and are actually the most comfortable pair I own.
  21. coors light
  22. I agree thats a huge shad, but look how big the guys fingers look holding it.
  23. I am going to be fishing a tourny next weekend at a lake that has some good fish on beds. I have been known to work a fish for 30-40 minutes, even longer if I need to, but here is my dilemma. I will have a non-boater with me and if I see a good fish that I want to try to work for. Is that fair to him and what should I do. Help with this one please. Thanks, Deadeye32
  24. thats another one of the Dicks sporting goods exclusive items. Not very good IMO, but it would work for a starter rod.
  25. I have a magnesium jig and toad special that I really like. I pitch senkos and jigs with it all the time and is probobly my favorite rod other than my loomis imx's. Good luck, but I really think you would like the kistler.
