  1. Suffix 832 for me. Power Pro is also popular. I use 10lb for my spinning set ups.
  2. Just ordered a couple Duo Realis pencils in the 65 and 85. Heard so many great things about their pencils.
  3. 6th sense Catwalk Lucky Craft Gunfish Yozuri Pencil
  4. I have the Rod Glove neoprene sleeves.
  5. I have a new one from today.... Get to the ponds at 5am when the gate opens. Was fishing my first spot for about 20 minutes, when this older gentleman stopped and started talking to me. Then he starts pounding his rod holders (for catfish) 3 feet to my left. He had tons of room to my left to set up. He was wearing a Vietnam Veteran hat so I just wished him good luck and moved.
  6. I would go with the 3/0. The 5/0 is used with baits like the Skinny Dippers which are 5” long and the 4.8 keitechs.
  7. Had a lady give her sons rocks to throw in the water right next to me. Don’t get me started on people feeding geese. Our ponds are pressured beyond belief as it is.
  8. For those of you that like the 3/4oz, do you prefer the 3” or the 3.8” size?
  9. Why would they do that?
  10. @Pickle_Power Interesting! Appreciate you posting the chart!
  11. Interested in seeing this.
  12. Get the Stradic Ci4+ for $150 and don’t look back. If for some reason you don’t like it, I don’t think you will have a problem selling it for $150.
  13. For those using Bisty bugs, do you have a preference between the 3/16 and 1/4 size? What color do you guys recommend and what type of trailer for a jig that small?
  14. Out of curiosity, what crank and color was it?
  15. Ordered a Tatula spinning rod from Amazon in the past and it was shipped in a crappy weak box. I was surprised the rod wasn’t damaged but it was fine. That’s the first and last time Im doing that.
  16. I been curious about it myself but they have been sold out for a while. Of course they are now available after I just placed an order for other stuff.
  17. I hardly throw frogs but my friend in Texas uses nothing but Scum Frogs and kills it,
  18. So I recently started hearing a clicking noise on both my 2500 and 3000 Stradic Ci4+ (newer model). The noise occur randomly every so many rotations and sounds exactly like the clicking noise when rotating the drag except the sound is a single click. The sound also occurs when the drag is either loose or tight. A few weeks ago I removed the spool and handle on both reels for the first time to do a basic wipe down and oiling. The reels never made this sound prior to the cleaning. I have braid on both reels and braid was also on the reel prior to having this issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
  19. This is my theory. If I did a 1 arm tug of war with someone, I would want my dominant hand holding the rope. So my dominant hand holds the rod when I play tug of war with a fish.
  20. I have the Fuego LT 2500 and love it. Purchased it for $75 and very hard to beat at that price. I looked at the BG but it felt way to heavy to me. I prefer lighter reels. The Fuego LT is the first spinning reel I always recommend in the $75-$100 range. I think it comes down to what you are looking for in a spinning reel.
  21. I have tried multiple backpacks and my favorite so far is the Gamakatsu. Extremely well made and extremely comfortable. The set up is perfect for what I need. Only thing would make it perfect is a bottle holder and maybe a specific plier holder. I can fit a 32oz hydroflask along with a ton of plastics in the top portion. Here are some other suggestions. Some are specific fishing backpacks while others are not. - Samurai Tactical Fishing backpack - Samurai Tactical Hanzo - Samurai Tactical Wakizashi - SOG Ninja Tactical daypack - Spyderwire Fishing backpack - High Sierra backpacks - Ugly Stik tackle backpack - Red Gill backpack - Flambeau Portage backpack - Tackle Warehouse Angler backpack - Plano A,E, Z Series - Shimano Moon backpack - Daiwa Tactical backpack - Tacklewarehouse backpack - Wild River
  22. I have seen a few on IG. They made a limited run and they were selling it at only a few Academy’s and sold out quick.. I believe the concept was invented by someone else in the early 90’s. I can’t remember his name. Interesting for sure.
  23. From pictures, I always thought the Zman blue craw was 1/2 green pumpkin and 1/2 light blue? So it’s 1/2 watermelon?
