  1. 7'5, 550 lbs.
  2. That is asking quite a bit of a spinning reel.
  3. That is my only knock on the Cumara spinning rods. IMO Shimano needs to use a seat similar to the one they use on the casting rods.
  4. We're getting some of it now. We got 4" in Jan, need another 10-15" over the next 3 months to really get back to a good spot.
  5. You give me far far too much credit Sam. In reality I'm dumber than a chithouse rat. I'm just good at reading and regurgitating. :-X
  6. Don't even get me started on this crap. Jimzee and I were just talking about it. Boggles the mind.
  7. Don't blame me, I didn't twist your arm....much
  8. This will last as long as it takes for some undocumented worker to overindulge, cross said fences and get a good jolt. Someone's wallet is going to get fatter... :-X
  9. While I've never fished the lake, I've been doing quite a bit of homework over the last couple of weeks. By April, the spawn should be in high gear. Get in the backs of the creeks. But do not forget about those fish who have either already spawned or haven't spawned yet. In other words, don't neglect the grass flats at the mouths of the creeks either. Nor the main river ledges.
  10. FWIW, SB765 was passed by the Senate today, will be taken up by the House soon. I haven't been on that lake in the summer, but after seeing all the pleasure boats and boat houses/slips around the lake I would think that the place is a madhouse come summer.

  12. Nah, the Mess will find a way to squander Santana. ;D
  13. They've raised the subscription rate on BASS Times.
  14. Small game is 'in season' on private land year round. And you do not need a license to posess the meat. If that was the case, my grandmother would be in jail for a long long long time as I keep her freezer full of trout, squirrel and deer. :
  15. The Comebacks - God please let this genre die a quick painful death!!! Good Luck Chuck - I hate Dane Cook, beginning to hate Jessica Alba. At least there were plenty of chesticles and Dan Fogler was a riot. Mr Woodcock - Billy Bob isn't funny unless he's uttering 1.3 expletives per minute.
  16. I just do a lot of reading on Japanese websites. Google translator and Babel fish translator are my friends. 8-) A Japanese redneck! ;D
  17. Without getting too far over the dreaded political line ( ), do you really expect those in Richmond to not 'steal' all the money they can?
  18. The clearance merchandise will vary on a store by store basis. It is based on actual sales at that store. Which is why I can't get anything more than 10 lb. test at my local store.
  19. Don't pay attention to the rated strength, look at the diameter of the line. One manufacturer's 10 lb. may be 0.011 while another's might be 0.013. Not all 10 lb. tests are created equally.
  20. The 72MHF, going from pitching a jig into a 20' patch of open water, isn't all that heavy. I would go with the 68MHF just based on the lure weight ratings. The 68MHF spinning is a bit stiffer than the casting.
