P-Line Or Hi-Seas Grand Slam?
If you're going to purchase a P-Line product, I would recommend the CXX. That Hi Seas fluorocarbon coated line actually doesn't suck but it's pretty much just like a nylon mono that doesn't really float.

Topwater Rod Question
That Avid would work.

Dobyns - New Contender For The $100 Rod Catergory
Yeah, you're correct. It's really not the threads that are the issue. Mostly I just want the locking nut from the Extremes to be on every rod series.

Dobyns - New Contender For The $100 Rod Catergory
I'm going to reserve judgement until I get my hands on one. I want to be cautiously optimistic but Dobyns does not have a good track record of sensitivity relative to price. However, sensitivity is just one aspect of a rod's performance. I just wish they would do something with the locking nut and threads; that ECS seat + metal hood and uncovered nut just murders my fingers.

Most Abrasion Resistant Nylon
I'd certainly look at CXX. Choose based on diameter as it runs thick for its advertised pound test.

The Memorial Day Monkey demanded $50. That 4.5" Swing Impact looks like a winner.

Trying To Turn Things Around
Lyrics are a bit lame but otherwise, two horns up. I love a good scream-growl combination. Look up some 3 Inches of Blood. Garaunteed to put a smile on your face!

Trying To Turn Things Around
Therapy is actually awesome with the right therapist. Don't be afraid to switch therapists if you don't feel a good connection (provided you have the option, of course). Meds are good (and sometimes necessary!) but many disorders respond well to therapies that do not involve medication. It's a process. However, after your first session I can almost guarantee that you'll feel 1000% better. Seriously, you would be surprised what just talking to someone will fix. You've done one of the harder things, which is admitting you need help and then you did an even harder thing by seeking it. Good on ya.

Dobyns Savvy Or Champion
BTD seems to be only 20% on Dobyns unless I'm missing something. I had a long stare-down with a 744 FH yesterday.

Siebert tungsten weights are the best because you're going to be buying more jigs anyway.

Sales And Deals Forum?
My only grump involves being censored when talking about purchasing rods or reels and we don't have a sponsoring dealer who carries rods and reels anymore, save for Mike @ DVT who builds.

Which Casting Reel Upgrades
Carbontex is a necessity. Ceramic bearings are nice if you like a little noise (I do). Carbon handles are cool but certainly not necessary.
