  2. I buy the weights with the skirt collar so i can put on any skirt.
  3. I dont really have a favorite...but cali craw looks absolutely sick.
  4. Only issue with mobile is load speeds compared to previous version.
  5. New daiwa reels are for sale on tw now. Some are limited supply. Get em while they are hot. This has been your friendly bait monkey announcement.
  6. Looks good so far and should be a big improvement for mobile which i appreciate as i dont have laptop.
  7. Ive enjoyed my green lensed oaklies. I feel they cut out a lot of the green stain in the water. Will silver be better? I dont know maybe.

I have a remington 700 6mm in good condition and my dads friend is finishing a remington 700 collection and wants the rifle. He wants to trade a .308 weatherby for it (dad says its in great shape with nice nikon scope) I hunt hardwood forests for deer and coyotes. Good deal or should I hold out?
  9. 1/4. I use to use 1/2oz but it was such overkill and would bury in weeds. 1/4 has smaller profile and slides through cover well and a trailer helps with casting distance.
  10. Sunny to reflect light. Otherwise it blends into water
  11. Mustad fastatach
  12. Cats out of the bag now... Good color options, very durable, garlic scented, cheap, and as good of an action as any boottail. The swing impact tail has more action than the ez at only the slowest of slow retrieves....didnt stop a 2 lb bass in 40 degree water from swipping at it last weekend.
  13. Im not telling my bait of choice as its not widely talked about. But you cant go wrong with boottail. It can be used in ALL conditions.
  14. Does anyone insert rattles into their soft plastic swimbaits? What brand rattles are recommended?
  15. Dont care enough. Just going by what the news said back in the summer, no need to be rude.
  16. Is there a reason to use the phone app from navionics rather than the webapp? The phone app will not allow you to see sonar charts but the webapp will. If you pay you can get the sonar charts... But the phone app allows you to download maps and store waypoints...which is possible with many midrange sonar/gps units.
  17. I take a bag that holds 4 3700 and a soft plastics bag. I take 4 rods as most boats struggle holding 6 when going down lake. Then there is extra line and reel handles tangling.
  18. Action refers to bend of the blank Power is the weight rating rod can handle Reviewers can confuse you by using these terms interchangeably. Most manufacturers power ratings are close to accurate to the listed lure weight. Figure out what weight you wikl use rod for and go from there.
  19. I tried the snaps after a tournament where i tried about 10 different cranks. Turns out Im faster tying SDJ knot than working the snap on the small eye.
  20. Onimasu is too big and expensive for my taste at the moment...i want one but can abstain. Besides I heard their Prometheus project is coming out with smaller baits
  21. Didcha catch it?
  22. I have changed hooks
