Huh....??? I do not understand. Maybe try golf? I don't start getting ready when I get home for work. I'm now prepping a river smallie bag for a float trip on Saturday. My kayak bag and crate are always ready --- first thing I do when I return is get it ready for next trip. I may need to modify slightly depending on where I head to, but it takes just a minute. In March I put trolling motors, batteries, tackle boxes, rods, paddle, crate, anchors, rain gear, net, etc in the car. Its all in there now and will be until Thanksgiving. If I know that the wife will be busy after work, I put the kayak on the car before going to work and toss a pair of shorts and sandals in the car. If it seems hard, then maybe....idk....what was the question again?

I've flown in to a couple different lakes in Northern Ontario about a half-dozen times over the last 35 years. My folks have been going every year for over 30 to the same camp: http://mccuskerlake.com This is the first year they haven't gone. Six of us caught over 1500 walleye one week. Wife and I both caught 35+ in. northerns last trip. That camp has new owners for the first time in generations and I'm not sure my folks are going back there. My mom is still pretty upset that they won't let you take a limit out with you. It is a great experience....but I still reminisce about the days with no running water and no generators...maybe 40 years ago, but seems like yesterday Still amazes me that you can be on a lake over ten miles long for a week or 10 days and never see another person. Bears, moose, sure...but no people...and even better, no cell service and no wifi

Looks like a one-off handmade to me. Like some I tried 50 years ago when I was a kid with a pocket knife, a piece of balsa and some hardware....back before I knew that need to spend $20 on a lure.

Woodbridge here. I split my time mostly between jon boats (rented out of Lake Ridge and Fountainhead); and kayaking from (Bull Run, Belvoir, Pohick, Occoquan) with occasional road trips to Front Royal, Hampton Roads, etc. Next time I am headed to Fountainhead or Lake Ridge and I know in advance that my wife won't be along, I'll send a PM.

About what? I don't understand much of what you wrote....TW has never been the fastest kid on the block...or even close....if you got charged, you'll get your stuff....if you don't, then call TW....nobody here can help you with your order

This has come up a lot and it was only recently that I paid attention....a few weeks ago, I copied someone's method and couldn't be happier. I got about 6 or 7 one-gallon ziplocs and put similar bags of plastics into each (sticks, trailers, flukes/swimmers, etc.) And then just tossed the gallon bags in a backpack. Best tackle organization thing I've done in years.

My opinion is worthless. Try it and let us know. Some despise it. Some do it all the time.

I keep things as simple as possible by running Yo-Zuri on all my rigs except for a couple that run straight braid (or braid with Yo-Zuri leaders.) I very much like its sensitivity, memory, shock absorption and castability.

It bothers me because it's prohibited...however, I'm not entirely sure why its prohibited and I can't see it ever affecting me personally, so I talk myself out of being bothered most of the time.

I always smoke cigars while fishing. Recently took up pipe smoking....but I haven't mastered fishing with a pipe. Most of my pipes are too heavy to leave in my mouth for any length of time like I can with a cigar.

I wouldn't be too surprised if there's something wrong with your reel. I just find it hard to imagine that there's so much different between lures that aren't all that far apart in weight. I had two entry-level Quantum spinning reels that both only lasted about one season.....but don't write off the brand if that's the case. Two of my favorite reels today are Quantums.

We may need more info - especially about your reel. What reel is it? How old? Been maintained well? What are the rod specs, as well? How many blades on your spinnerbait? What shape are they?

When my wife gets bored with my hunt for the biggest bass in the lake, she starts throwing 3 inch grubs on light jig heads just to pull numbers. It works very reliably.

I use weighted hooks a LOT with creature baits - especially RT Structure Bugs. I do use them for worms at times, but I won't hesitate to go back to 'regular' texas rig if it isn't working. My wife was outfishing me by a LOT a couple of weeks ago on a smallie river by throwing 4 and 5 inch stick worms on weighted EWG while I was trying hard to prove that everything else in the bag wasn't as good.

Nope. Need to do a bunch of number crunching. There's about three that I'd take today if I had the cash in my pocket. But, we're a few years from living there full time and we need to be confident that we can get a loan with decent terms and more importantly, that we get a place that we can rent out most (all?) year for a few years until we can move there full time. I think that we have, however, decided that the area is perfect for us.

We keep coming back to Dandridge. Meeting with another realtor this morning. We have a list of 3 or 4 places we really like. I'm not ready to pull the trigger, but I think my wife is ready to move here tomorrow
