  1. you work a crappy construction job in 105 degree heat and still have 2 of these. http://usacproshop.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=789 I win
  2. I guess they call them humpies for a reason! as for me, all I could see was an Emperor Penguin
  3. IF you're talkin about don, i'm 99% that it was a 53lb sack. amazing. i don't fish tournies either. but my record best five fish with a partner is 47lbs 10.5ozs.
  4. my boat. its a piece of $**! , but I sure hate being stuck on the bank.
  5. You won't be disappointed!
  6. You're the man Randall! I am in the same situation. Most lakes out here are down 50 feet or even more! The hookset arm hasn't got much use, but the GPS sure has! Sure wish I had some of those pesky 7 and 8 pounders to keep me company though, LOL!
  7. happens to me all the time. i have a 2000 Silverado. It has a dedicated trailer light fuse under the hood in the electrical center.
  8. Mike Long, Paul Duclos, Butch Brown
  9. neither the powerdrive, nor MG's remote steer are suitable on a bass boat.
  10. ticks rattlesnakes mosquitoes flies squawfish rats muskrats prairie dogs and the two worst: SEAGULLS AND BATS!
  11. i haven't fished the capricorn, but the tierra is an awesome little reel for the money.
  12. Calcutta's are SWEEEEEEEET! I've got the 400B and 400TE. I think the 400b is my all time favorite reel. I had thought about a luna300 for my next rod, but if it aint broke.... I think a casting setup for dropshotting with a calcutta 50 would be WICKED!
  13. ALL of my baitcasters are Shimano, and ALL of my spinning reels are Daiwa, I wouldn't have it any other way
  14. i made the bait a long time ago and just haven't fished it. NOW I will. I am in the process of making a few more that are the same dimesions but finished better. I'd show every participating member of the forums the bait, its just the lurkers that I am worried about. Same reason i block out my backgrounds. Its not you guys, its THEM LOL. I know it seems dumb, but leftcoast knows what I am talking about!
  15. you've got to remember that the males make the bed and females don't choose the same mate year after year. so even IF a male made a bed in the same spot, the same female isn't likely to be there.
  16. That is very strange. Must be the same camera malfunction that blocks out the background in every picture you take. : I know! Its the handiest thing!
  17. Keep your eyes open for that shad
  18. Nope! Not even close! Besides the TOOL is 13" ( I don't know why TW has 10")
  19. Thanks guys! Funny thing is, I don't have any pictures of the bait
  20. Got to go out with a couple of my buddies the other day and throw the big baits around. Had a decent day with a few bites and 4.5 fish in the boat. My buddy Don started the day off with about a 4 lber that went unweighed on a topwater hardbait. Then Steve caught one about the same size that we watched him boat across the lake. After awhile I stuck a 5-3 slow rolling on the bottom. After that the three of us (in two boats) were just kind of floating off in front of the point shootin the breeze. I had a bait that I made awhile back sitting on deck. It is the only big bait I have ever made and is about 10 inches long and weighs about 8 ounces. My buddy Steve always makes fun of it , so i got a little defensive and tied it on to show them how good it looks in the water. About 10 seconds into the cast it gets blown up on, it missed and I just stood there laughing like a lumatic, don screamed to keep working it, as soon as I started moving it again, still laughing, the fish came back and ate it again! and missed! i kept going and she came back a third time and I got her. She went 4-12. I was soo stoked to get a good one on a bait that I built. Needless to say the guys changed their tune about my bait which I have lovingly dubbed the " 2 X 4". I ended up hooking another fish of about the same size that I tried and failed to swing in the boat and she flew off in midair LOL. no big fish, but good times were had by all!
  21. Its all about the double trouble from d&m customs. the only buzzbait i use anymore.

I too thought this for a while, until I was fishing with a bud at the delta. Nailed a 4lber and a couple 2 1/2 -3's on a 6 inch robo worm. Made me a believer. Well, that's kinda what I meant: tournament fish. 6lbs12ozs dropshot 6" fat straight tail aarons magic 4lbs14ozs shakey 6" straight tail prism shad once in awhile they'll get a big fish. my buddies had a 9 and a high 8 one day dropshotting. most of the time they aren't so big though lol
  24. Generally speaking, the colder it is, the better they work out here. dec-feb is prime time for an absolute monster. That usually means water temps in 50's.
