  1. 6:30-6:30, bundle up!
  2. sammy 100: the only topwater that I CONSITENTLY catch smallies on. caught some today as a matter of fact.
  3. clearlake and the california delta can get pretty big. add in giant yachts on the delta, and it can get pretty sketchy in a small boat.
  4. no way dude! some of the best bites i have been on have been in three foot rollers!
  5. Because I believe that it helps the bite a TON! Many, many times I have been having a real tough day, and when the wind kicks up, the bite will turn on. It doesn't hurt that wind is often associated with storm fronts here either.
  6. the wind blows the plankton and algea into the down wind shore, and that attracts baitfish, and the baitfish attract the bass and so forth....jk all I know is : "I like wind, it is my friend"
  7. Where is Fish? I would be interested to hear what he has to say on this.
  8. mattlures and a surface bait.
  9. Welcome to the forum Robert. The best on the net!
  10. I'm LOVING the Crucials right now.
  11. 4-6 inch straight tail ProWorm.
  12. The most lifelike version of a 12 inch trout you can imagine.
  13. They are the same dimensions as a GYCB, but they are a little firmer. not too much though IMO. With an owner riggin hook, they fall just fine. I don't often use senkos though. No catch as far as I can see. They are a good company. The plastics are decent, the jigs are great.
  14. I already received my first order, waiting on the second. I ordered again because the baits are great. It took about a week and a half. The partial refund means that they will ship whichever part of your order they have and refund you for what they don't.
  15. I thought it was funny Avid You might not be able to tell if a striking bass is hungry, but you can at least be certain of his religious denomination: PROTESTant
  16. I use the Rapala Carbide Pro's they are my absolute favorite fishing tool.
  17. Slugs are one of my all time favorite baits for stream trout. They kill 'em.
  18. You better believe it is! I'm not much of a Gloomis man, but my rod should be on my doorstep tomorrow when I get home from work. I now have as many swimbait setups as I have regular casting rigs!
  19. Lincoln!!!! We're practically neighbors!
  20. Here is a written color chart. that is the best I could find. i am only fishing about four colors of jigs, so i didn't even look for one, lol.
  21. Raul...you're a JERK! ;D jk. You got me all excited for nothing!
  22. 60 for the price of ten aint too bad in my book! The quality on the plastics is pretty good, and the jigs are great.
  23. I wouldn't dare claim that you get backlashes , but repeated backlashes (especially where you pull hard trying to get it loose) cause a ton of kinks in your line. That might be the problem.
