Is Cover More Important Than Structure?
That's exactly right.. Find/locate food sources and find & catch fish... It's plain and it's mostly simple. Ecosystems in Soft cover vegetation, Rocky areas, open water areas, academically, call it what it is, but it's mostly about the food! Timing as to when they will feed is the fun part...

Rod Length With Deep/heavy Cranks
I threw a 10xd on Kentucky lake, with a 7'11" Rage heavy moderate fast action... The rod did ok.. I hated the bait, 4 hours and done! The length helps to bomb the baits, still, hard to bomb a 10xd..

What's The Fastest Way To Strip Old Line?
Lol, it's a line remover! The bottom left & right tubes are for 2(ea) D size batterys, the Top is the motor head, as well as the line insertion point. Line enters the rear, into a dual set of rubber rollers, one is powered the other is inert... Peels line off very quickly, 200 yds in maybe 1:30.. So fast it creates major Static electricity ( at times). Batterys last 3 to 4 years depending.

Anyone Have A Tackle Bag Like This..
I concur with fishes in trees on putting together a couple of go-fast bags.. That's also what I concluded many years ago.. No need to take 35 pounds of gear on a day trip!

Changing Monofilament On Ultralight
Exactly, most especially on the last point! I learned the exact same philosophy in Florida Fishing.. It's served me well over the years...

Changing Monofilament On Ultralight
Ok, 2 times a week = how many hours? Point is, if your fishing 12 hour days ( I did ) i would change more often than that myself. Plus, factor in cover types, etc.. Inspect your line for the wear and tear indicators.. I change mono, & copoly types, way more often than most. That's my decision to do so, if your having great results, why change your line replacement strategies. Is this merely a economic issue? Mono & copolys are not exspensive in the grand scheme of things.. Why not reap the rewards of fresh line changes, it's what's between you & the fish..

Thinking About The Nrx
http://www.americanlegacyfishing.com/ These guys do the rod trade in year around, plus 10% this time of year... If you have a rod to trade in. They are the largest GLoomis dealer in the country. I would check out all company's suggested for the "Best Deal"

Reel Ratios...
LOL! Yea ok, when BPS opens you will be even more frustrated! Reels nowadays have bigger gear sets plus factor in Shimano's xship and a 7.2.1 ratio has speed plus a good bit of leverage, as far as raw cranking of very high resistant lures ( deep diving cranks) or heavier any kind of rigs, think 5.1 or 5.5.1 ratio... Those are my choices

Thinking About The Nrx
Hootie fishes a couple Nrx rods, can't remember which models though... Maybe he will see this and comment, or shoot him a PM. I know he raved about them, about like most owners!

Thinking About The Nrx
The NRX is a elite stick, most fisherman are well aware of this.. It's no secret. The bit older model of IMX, is a very good rod, but doesn't compare to the Nrx.

Reel Lube For Duralumin Gear In Revomgx
I've had good results with Quantum "Hot sauce" Grease, it spreads really well.. I like it...I have used it on Daiwa's & Shimano's. The Fuego was coined a duralumin gearing as well.. No issues for me..you sure there's not another issue going on though?

Curado G
Not exactly a fan of the G, for reasons that simply don't matter to pure function. I can say for the prices that many are paying for them, it's a very good deal. As far as the gear issue ( roughness ) I have had multiple brands of reels over the years, and in all cases, there are always, always, less than stellar copy's from each company.
