It’s both. Florida fish and wildlife isn’t allowing much freshwater drain off, lots of hurricanes have dropped massive amounts of water, raising water levels which just kills hydrilla. Then you have them spraying on top. They still gonna spawn though. I haven’t watched any of this today. Scott has been living life differently the last few years, he’s a Christian Man now, so he probably told BASS something that had little useful information. The Man didn’t deserve a 4 day boot plus a fine. Anyway I’m done with my disgruntled posts lol
  2. A baitcast reel with a max of 4 pounds of drag? I mean what company would make such a reel?
  3. You dream Holmes. 🤣😂🤣 I’ll second Kistler. I have older and newer, the newer is quite good, I’m not sure it’s NFC good but they’re definitely solid.. 10% off if a veteran and he runs sales.
  4. Woo hoo !! A DOJO argument 😂🤣
  5. They are in Indiana, courtesy of the States DNR.. southwestern-southern Indiana, Ohio river area. There has been a sighting in Clark county.
  6. Home of Bigfoot too!
  7. Scott Martin knows that water better than anyone on that lake besides his father. That information was meaningless… likely a simple discussion, pretty sure Scott Martin knows how to go find and catch a big sack of LMB.. even without electronics.
  8. Disqualifying Scott Martin from the entire Tournament plus a fine is total BS.. it’s ridiculous. What’s next, forbid fishermen from using Cellphones?
  9. Roosevelt Roads.. waiting on the Tarpon to herd the shrimp into the sea wall where we began to throw jigs.. We always stuck one but never landed one. Or fishing off the fantail of Nimitz anchored off Fort Lauderdale.. both exceptional times. Maybe I’m really wishing to be young again. 😉
  10. The Indiana state LMB record was caught on a 1/4 ounce pop r, big bass love small baits, but they also love large baits. I guess for a fish with a huge ass mouth what ya expect huh 🤣😂🤣😉
  11. The Zillion 1000 HD is 100 size with MagZ. But since I’ve just re-entered the world of Daiwa since 2006 I’d call on @bulldog1935 for clarification. Sorry bulldog but you da Man on Daiwa stuff 🤣😂🤣 BTW, it’s a JDM Reel and I paid $560 for my two.. prices are climbing it seems..
  12. Not a fan of the SV at all, the first Daiwa I tried was an SV spool model. (since the Daiwa OG Zillion of 2003) Took it straight back. But the MagZ with boost is awesome…
  13. I’ll do it Catt, I’m a A&P guy too.. I’ll make ya proud! 🤣 Seriously brother, I’m lifting you up in prayers and may the Lord guide this procedure to 100% success. ✝️✝️✝️
  14. Another option is the Shimano Metanium Shallow Spool edition. It’s an awesome caster with a custom spool out of the box. It handles light mono, co-poly or even braided lines extremely well. I have one I use with a GLX 892 J&W rod. The braking system is custom engineered for weights of 3/16 to 3/8 ounce. To me, it’s a perfect plug and play reel for your needs. I will say so far, my Zillion 1000 HD reels X 2 are very well engineered although these out of the box are power fishing reels but they can be manipulated to fish lighter weights by changing spools and probably an 80 to 90 mm handle.
  15. I looked at one last week and because it’s designed for very small diameter braid and that’s a no go for me, I just bought a second 1000HD. Good luck finding what ya want..
  16. Nice! I never catch them down here.
  17. Nice pics. That last bass has what looks like vertical lines on it. Looks like a walleye and a bass. What am I seeing here?
  18. Since you have so many I’ll take two sets for my Daiwa Zillions 1000 HD please. Ok I’m joking but I did ask about this maybe a week ago. But these reels are amazing pitching and casting reels, I see no point in doing a swap, but who knows 🤷
  19. Is there some drama with this guy or something?
