  2. 3.75” Rage Swimmer
  3. Been great in this super clear lake as well as some dingier water I fish. On sale for $6 on TW currently.
  4. That would be a Strike King Tour Grade double willow, 3/4oz in “Green Tomato”. The clean up hitter of my spinnerbait line up.
  5. The dink scowl
  6. There is this thing with non-fishing kayakers. Every one of them seemingly thinks kayaks are not allowed or capable of going over deeper water. I can’t figure this one out. Confounding.
  7. @AlabamaSpothunter thanks man. Only 1 hour of filming and I’m already addicted. Being able to go back watch moments and catches is too cool. Never thought it’d be so much fun. When that hour was up and my SD card was full, I was bummed out. Can’t wait to get back out there with more memory!
  8. I had no idea that Dink-a-Palooza 2023 was happening today. I never got the memo. But I found myself a part of the festivities today. Dink after dink. The significance of this trip was the fact that it was my first time out with the GoPro. Please excuse my sniffling and heavy breathing, I have a gnarly chest cold. And double excuse the terrible camera angle and brim of my hat in the shot. Like I said, this is the first time I’ve filmed myself fishing ever. So don’t be too harsh lol! ? I had no idea the standard SD card only holds an hour of footage, so I only filmed my first hour. But I had a blast filming. I had a natural urge to narrate, which made me feel more connected and in-tune with how I was fishing. Will be upgrading my SD card immediately. Fish didn’t want much other than a wacky senko today….the worst kind of bite. Managed to pick one off around noon that went 2.5 on the spinnerbait, but other than that it was short fish after short fish.
  9. I get half the garage and a corner of the basement. Boat stays in garage, tackle station and storage in the basement. Gotta make do with what we are allowed!
  10. @Chilidog that looks like a brute!
  11. Strider is the fastest pitcher to reach 100 Ks in a season since 1893! Strider hit 100 in only 61 IP. Continues to dominate. And Mike Soroka is FINALLY back on the bump tonight. If he’s still the pitcher he was a couple years ago, teams better look out. But if we don’t get some bullpen help, it’s gonna be tough down the stretch.
  12. Website started in ‘96, Youtube channel with 128k subscribers…
  13. Good looking pup. It’s always a good idea to get your dogs fixed, even if they don’t have the opportunity to breed with other dogs. Getting them neutered makes them healthier, increases their lifespan, and lowers and eliminates the risks of some cancers. Hope he make a quick recovery and gets back to doing puppy stuff!
  14. Really hard to tell with the bad photo, but looks like it could be an Eastern Hellbender. Although you’re a little North of their reported range.
  15. The whopper plopper. Bought several when the hype went through the roof a few years back. But all it does is shut the bite down every time. I could catch more fish with a Texas rigged baseball bat casting into a corn field than I could throwing a whopper plopper to fish that haven’t eaten in a month.
  16. I’ve had great luck with wacky rigs at night. I fish them very differently than I do during the day. Normal fishing hours with a senko, I’ll pick a target, cast it, let it sink, jiggle it a couple times, then reel in and pick next target. At night, I cast the senko, let it fall, then slowly drag it on the bottom. With a weightless senko, you have to go VERY slow to maintain bottom contact. It’s been very productive for me.
  17. You’re a brave man for being out there this weekend!
  18. This weekend no matter how good the weather is I’ll be avoiding the water. I’ll let all the nutcases, drunks, and people who only take their boats out once a year have the water all to themselves. I won’t be a part of Memorial Day on the lake debauchery.
  19. All depends on how deep I’m trying to run the bait. It’s always at some sort of <90° angle.

@gimruis MN lawmakers have certainly been busy recently. But only $100 fine for littering?
  21. I was working at the Tanger Outlets, right across the street from the park. We were looking up at the roller coasters while working. There is a massive one made entirely of wood, and it looks insane. We were in awe.
  22. Currently leading the field for best baits for numbers for me. On track to repeat last year.
  23. Well only males guard fry, so if you’re fishing for fry guarders then you’re fishing for smaller fish. They generally don’t get more than 18”. Not really PB territory for most bass anglers.
  24. During warm weather, I wear Crocs on the boat. Comfy with or without socks, don’t weigh much, doesn’t matter if they get wet.
  25. In Hershey, PA this week for work and stopped in the famous Tröegs Brewery. Tried the Dreamweaver wheat beer, easily top 5 beers I’ve ever had. Had to fill a growler to take home.
