Motorguide X3 55# Tripping 50 Amp Breaker
When I installed my new x3, I relocated my trolling motor batteries to the middle of the boat and used the Trac rigging kit from bps. This uses 8 guage wire with a 50 amp breaker. I'm having an issue with the breaker tripping when running the motor for extended periods of time on its highest setting. The owners manual for the x3 calls for a 50 amp breaker and the wire is brand new and in perfect condition. Since my batteries are toward the front of the boat, the wire run is only 5 or 6 feet. Any ideas why this might be happening?

All The Different Lews Reels
I have a laser mg, tournament mg, and a bb1 pro and I absolutely love the bb1 pro. I'm amazed by it everytime I switch to it from my other rods.

Dissapointed With The Strike King Rage Blade.
ColdSVT and I were fishing yesterday and discussed this thread. I decided to throw on my rage blade and it didn't take long for me to switch back to a Pure Poison. The rage blade just doesn't work as well, especially in thick grass.

What's The Height On Your Boats Stand Up Buttseat Seat?
I'm 5'7" and I have the bps power pedestal that adjusts from 22-29" and it is the perfect range for me. I generally have it about 3" from the lowest point.

Seaguar Red Label
I liked it quite alot until I tried Tatsu. For the price, its good line.

Dissapointed With The Strike King Rage Blade.
I agree with the OP. I have 3 different colors of the rage blade that haven't produced. I switch to the same color pure poison and catch fish.

Lake Wallenpaupack, Pa, 4-25-14
Thanks for the tip. I had planned to launch from the Ironwood launch and head south. Any suggestions on jerkbait color? Seems on the susquehanna the smallmouth love anything with an orange belly.

New Motor Guide X3
Its working well. The only thing I have issue with is the clamp around the upper shaft. Its very tight and makes changing the height of the motor tough.

You've inspired me to give Wallenpaupack a try. I've never been there but I'm going to hit it on Wednesday.

New Motor Guide X3
I've got a 55# but I've only been on the water twice. I'm fishing for 3 days with it this weekend. So I'll have more feedback next week. So far I like it.

Lews Pro Bb1 Vs Lews Tournament Speed Spool
I have mine on a 7'3" *** and I'd use it for anything. I specifically use it for chatterbaits/spinnerbaits/buzzbaits. I spooled it with 30# smackdown and it casts everything effortlessly.

Lews Pro Bb1 Vs Lews Tournament Speed Spool
I have a bb1 pro and its amazing. I don't have a tournament pro but I do have a tournament mg speed spool. They aren't even close in comparison. The brakes on the Bb1 are awesome. I can cast everything from 1/8 oz to 3/4 oz with very little adjustment. It casts everything a mile.

Any Review On Motorguide X3 Bowmount Trolling Motors?
I got my new one mounted up this last weekend. I got the 55 lb thrust with the 36" shaft. It's perfect for my aluminum river boat. I've used it once and it works well. It replaces a 37 lb Motorguide that's almost 20 years old and going strong. Just wanted a little more thrust for fishing current on the river. One thing that is taking some getting used to is that the steering is the complete opposite of the old motor, so there's a learning curve. I used the old one so much that it was natural to operate and I never had to look down at it. Now, I have to watch the arrow on top constantly and am working to train my brain.

From tioga county: cv bass league & tioga county bass anglers. http://www.tiogacountybassanglers.com/ http://www.cvbassleague.com/ I'll be fishing many of the cv league tournaments on the finger lakes. Tioga bass anglers has a 3 day tournament in july.

Seaguar Smackdown Braided Line
I have 30# on my lews bb1 pro and I love it. Its smooth and supple and casts a mile. I liked it so much that I bought the 65# for flipping. The 65# isn't as smooth to the touch and, of course, much stiffer. I definitely recommend the 30#. Only time will tell how I feel about the 65#.

Buzzbait! Most fun way to catch them. Especially in shallow water where you see the wake coming.

Susquehanna River Advice Needed!
Hmm. That sucks. The Williamsport Bassmasters fish out of the Linden launch all the time. At least they did...

Cold Front Coming Through 2 Days Before Tournament. Help!
I've been keeping an eye on norman water temps with our trip coming up and while the air temps have been fluctuating, water temps have been pretty steady in the low 50s in the morning and mid 50s in the afternoon.

Lew's Bb1 Upgrades For 2014
I got a bb1 pro a few weeks ago and was able to take it to the river and cast chatterbaits for about an hour. Everything else is frozen right now. It is amazing to cast. I kept backing off the brakes and it just cast further and further. Incredibly smooth spool control. I am in love with this reel. Can't wait for ice out.

Susquehanna River Advice Needed!
I live 5 minutes from the susquehanna up Williamsport way. I always do well using 3" goldish colored beavers and white/shad colored spinnerbaits with a copper colorado blade. Theres something about that copper colorado that the smallmouth love. Check out confidencebaits.net. He had a bunch of great kayak fishing videos from the area you are interested in.

Feb Lake Norman Trip...first Timer
Thanks for the update. I'm going to norman with coldsvt. I hope water temps climb into the 60s by then. We are beaver fishing fools and I'm looking forward to lots of dock fishing.
