  1. I have seen if you look at the edges of the screen o of the 170° view the Sony gets blurry, but they perform better on the move as you said. I'm not 100% sold on a Gopro. If I find a decent priced AS20 I would get it. Has the AS20 improved the mounting options, and improved the case for better audio?
  2. Hero 3 had better view angle clarity sand some other better features.
  3. I looked at the Sony action one, but hero's are a auctioning off around $200 ish new on eBay. So that's what I am going to try for. I put up an ad on the flee market, but I know they are hard to come by on this site.
  4. And it's bought. New Abu Garcia Nacl with a Volatile rod. A couple new 3600's for my tackle box, and Lure or two. Now to look for a GoPro...
  5. I am up in the air between a go pro 2 or Sony action cam. Both look great, but name sake makes me want to go with the Hero.
  6. So I have been looking at getting a Gopro, but I was thinking just getting my feet wet on the idea. I was looking at the Hero 2, but also considering knock offs. This has me wondering what are you using? Are you capturing those bow up's on a Gopro, phone or something else?
  7. I bet. They should make a tackle box lunch box.
  8. I bag to differ. While you aren't going to fit runs in it, it is a decent bag. I keep my JJ's in the front pouch, and I bunch of plastics in the main.
  9. Such a small charge through it. I don't think it would.
  10. A)I like to use a lipless when there is grass or cover, but I have about 2 feet of depth to work with. Pulling a lipless through cover is going to give you a bad day. And your only going to catch salad fish.Lipless don't always have the depth of say a DT 10. So if you are trying to stay in a deeper sweet spot I'd go with a lipped lure. B. not sure C) As in A, you won't get as deep in a specific target zone as long, and weeds are going to be a big deciding factor. But I think a lipless is an important tool as any in your arsenal, and should be looked at. Practice throwing it with different retrieve patterns (burn it, slow, dead twitch) and get comfortable with it.
  11. I have gone to only Abu Garcia's. I currently have a Pro, Silver, Cardinal, Ike Dude, and if my taxes come in Tuesday I will be purchasing a Toro Nacl. I have never been a fan of the large reels, and love my low profile bait casters. On your question. I think the one was an older version as you said. The black Mac was branded in the Smax 2 and is the "new" profile.
  12. I have had the pleasure of owning and firing both in 9mm. I loveed my Glock, but I love my S&W more.
  13. I have one of the livingstons (pro wake in money gill) that run sub surface. You can make it click and blink, but if I remember right I think some states don't allow the light, as it is considered an attractor. I bought it because I was looking for shallow running lures. It has a nice color to it. It is a thicker like a Man's bait. Hooks where okay. Nothing bad stood out about it when I unboxed it.
  14. Northland Weed Runner 3/8oz in white with a white zoom grub trailer. 6.2lbs large mouth
  15. I have only 3 swims right now. Bbz shad in 4 & 6 in Maddog Shell cracker And R2S S-waver. Okay 4 if you count the guide as a swim. Thanks for the advice, and I will work on it this summer. With as expensive as swims can be I haven't gotten into it that much.
  16. I literally just watched the video.. Yeah next TW order I might just pick up a bottle of that and a Matt Lure. I have been waiting until my taxes come in to get my rod, and than order all the fun extras.
  17. I was looking at the U2 soft, but see the hardgills now. I know if mend it, but never have used it myself.
  18. I think the only thing that has kept me away is that some reviews say it is a soft plastic and the longevity comes into question. A couple said it ripped easily and that worries me a little. I don't sight fish often and a lot if the time will just toss a lure where it feels right. Sometimes it pays off with a nice bass, others times I feet northerns. That scares me a little too pay that much for a northern chew toy. Edited: of course I know they are soft plastic, but what I ment was it in itself (the material) doesn't hold well.. we all know those trailers that are GREAT, but a couple strikes in and it's time to replace.
  19. I have watched Mattlues in action in the water, and think they are outstanding to. I have seen tank videos of the floating and suspended action as well as on the water bass blowing up on them videos. I haven't pulled the trigger yet on buying one. I do have a tackle order being placed and might sneak one in.
  20. Yes but it is coming to the American market. Untill now you could only buy them off places that bought them directly or Ebay. With the direct US market I can only hope a decent price, as others had said the conversion is roughly $35. So a great price IMO.
  21. Well I'm not sure if there are 2 line ties. That and there is am empty hook space in the tail. So maybe that is a third hook anchor.
  22. On the Japanese site there are many options for color. If you go on YouTube keepingitreel has a good review, and the realism is just phenomenal. And price wise it is comparable to the Lucky Craft which is only $10 cheaper, but half the detail.
  23. Wow, talk about realism in a finish. While I cant understand a darn thing on this site, it is said to be coming to the US market in 2015. I would consider buying now, but how much is ¥4,010(本体価格)? http://www.jackall.co.jp/bass/products/lure/gantalel/
  24. "Phil Collins in the air tonight playing in my head" Wife walks into my office... "You know our anniversary is coming, what are you getting me..?" Any normal guy would freak out.. What?! Again.. I thought that was last month?! Nope… I have this planned. Me “question shouldn’t be what am I getting you. You are getting a bouquet of roses, your hair done, and a day at the spa. The question is what are you getting me?” Bam!! My new musky reel is going to ordered next week, and trying to decide between a St. Croix 7” H (2-6oz) custom musky rod, or 8” Abu Garcia Volatile H (3/8 – 4oz) rod.. The Abu will matches in color, but the St. Croix I can custom… Anniversaries should be every month if I get my way like this!
  25. Refuse to go down to Iowa... The BPS in MN needs to be hurried up and built.
