  1. What if it was a rookie builder with big aspirations????
  2. I will from now on, i was blinded by the convenience of it and never thought that his work would be....lets say......sloppy.
  3. Will do thanks. When i took it out the 1st time the top 4 guides were out of position. I took it back and explained that the line management in the last 4 guides was off and to adjust them. I got it back to find that not much was done and it looked like it was a guess as to where they were placed. Instead of repeating that process I would use it as a way to get me building. I am going to start that this fall
  4. I bet....and that is one of the problems. Reel seat is not great and the guide placement is poor. I think i am going to dismantle it myself and use it as my 1st build. I am meticulous so this could be a good hobby for me. I dont have alot of time bc i have an 8mth old daughter and i fish when i am not doing the family thing, but its a long winter. Lol
  5. The bass dr is the only guy i have ever seen use them. I am also curious about all star rods. I am in the hunt for light and high sensitivity at a decent price. I wont just buy a bull dawg without trying to get someones opinion on it
  6. I was more curious about the line of bass rods they have.
  7. Anyone have em? Opinions?
  8. My club fished in laurel,de sat eve 4pm to midnight. I fished horsey pond and had 9lbs total. Had a 6lber short strike my swim jig 5 ft from the boat. All bags were over 8lbs. Ponds fished were horsey, records, and chipmans. All the fish were cookie cutters really.
  9. I am right handed and fish all LH baitcasters. My right arm has all the power no different than fishing spinning gear. My opinion is its more efficient...but 90% of anglers use RH. Makes 0 sense to me but at the end it all comes down to feel.
  10. It really will depend on where you are. You have the sassafras river, the susquehanna river, the susquehanna flats, ect. The susquehanna fishes tough imo, the sass has like 3lb average if you find em, and the flats can be awesome or terrible pending weather and tide. GL up there. Lots of choices to make
  11. I have nothing of value to say, but this is sure making me laugh.
  12. Sounds good to me thanks, i have time.
  13. How is the fall largemouth scene on the lake? I have a vacation in September. I have never been to the lake so its gonna be fun being amped up to hit it. I have an image of how it's going to go but any info would be helpful.
  14. I think they would be on the 1st break 4 to 6ft. I would fish the transition from gravel to rock with a square bill.
  15. ok cool yeah I read that about them thank ya
