  1. Does it cast less distance than the 90 and 110?
  2. Update: So, I used the Teckel Sprinker Frog, Booyah Toad Runner, and my Homemade Teckel frogs the other day. Went out and it was fairly windy. Was a better day for a Whopper Plopper because the WP makes a great commotion even with quite a chop on the water. However, there are weeds just below the surface and my WP got caught up each time I cast so I went to the frogs. Immediately caught one with my Homemade Teckel frog made with a Booyah Pad Crasher. Nice fish. I gave the lure to my friend to use and I started throwing the Booyah Toad Runner. It did not run well. It seemed to dive for the first 5 feet for some reason. After about an hour I switched to the Teckel. The Teckel also did not run well in the waves. I finally tried my Homemade Teckel frog made with a Spro King Daddy frog and that one also dove for about the first 5 feet like the Booyah. So strange. Note: I did use a Mustad KVD Fastach Snap with swivel on all of the frogs. While I was having no luck and getting no bites with these frogs my friend caught 5 fish with the Homemade Teckel Frog made with the Booyah Pad Crasher. Today I went out with another friend and used my Homemade Frog with Booyah Pad Crasher and caught 7 bass in 4 hours. My friend caught one with his regular Scum Frog. I took his Scum Frog and added a Teckel Tail to it and caught 1. I gave it back to him and he caught 1. I let him keep the tail on his frog. The Scum Frog obviously worked but I think the tail doesn't run as easily as it does on the Booyah Pad Crasher. So, I'll stick with those for now. On the way home I hit Walmart and saw that they had a KVD Sexy Frog for $4.96. I bought that. If it works as well as the Booyah and holds up to all the abuse from bass then I will switch to them as they are about $2 cheaper per frog than the Booyah Pad Crasher. Good fishin'
  3. O. I’m pretty sure Minn Kota doesn’t have it. I only use my remote to stow and deploy from the driver seat otherwise I like the foot pedal better.
  4. What!!!!??? lol. I have a 2017 Ulterra, didn’t see the wireless foot pedal ones. Or is it an extra accessory?
  5. Nice rig buddy!!!
  6. Ragetail Toad was one of my most successful lures. But like the horny Toad they get tore up pretty quick and need to be replaced. Started using homemade Teckel frogs and those not only work better but last a lot longer too. I’ll sacrifice many fish to just catch 1 topwater.
  7. Interesting point. He said he helped tow a guy who’s boat had died. When he did lots of smoke. Whitish color but when he stopped towing him back to no smoke.
  8. You have horrible luck with chargers my friend.
  9. Update: Friend took boat out for a fishing trip and went to all of the same locations that he always goes too. Of course the problem did not replicate itself this time. Hmmmm........
  10. Dicks used to have a decent fishing section with a lot of BOGO. Not anymore. I used to stop in there every once and awhile. Not anymore.
  11. This is the fella. Bobby. Great guy and great CS!!!! I'll only buy Cavitrons from now on. Tried many, none worked as well as Cavitrons. They straight catch fish and the guy stands behind his product. Thanks Bobby!!!
  12. I’ve gotta respectfully disagree. I just ordered a St. Croix rod and Shimano reel, both not on sale and both brands are on the exclusion list. When I checked out showed full price. When I got my email confirmation showed both got the discount.
  13. Get a 110 Whopper Plopper and for weeds make a Homemade Teckel Frog (paddle tailed frog) and you’ll have topwater covered.
  14. Dwight is right. I bought a Minn Kota Ulterra last year at a steal and they didn’t show the price.
  15. I’ve found the O rings work better than nothing but tubing works best.
  16. We’ve always had good luck with Cavitrons. And I’ve tried a lot of buzzbaits. My friend had a skirt fall off of a brand new one, got old in the package I guess, and the Cavitron guy, can’t remember his name sent my friend a brand new package of skirts and a brand new Cavitron for free. Best CS around.
  17. I’d slow it down a bit. Second choice would a trailer hook but since it’s weedy that wouldn’t work. If I had that much grass I’d use a paddle tail frog.
  18. I catch fish all day with the Whopper Plopper the biggest being about 3-1/2lbs. Caveat: I will say I think I would be catching the same fish with a buzzbait or other bait. The lake just has a lot of 2-3lbs. fish in it.
  19. I can't recall ever seeing a bad review about Dual Pros. What models did you have?
  20. Now that the July 4th Tackle Warehouse sale is about to start I need to restock my diminishing supply of Senkos, Zoom Super Flukes, Booyah Pad Crashers, and spare Teckel Sprinker Frog Tails for my homemade Teckel Sprinker Frogs. A few years ago I bought like a 100 Senko bulk pack from TW but I can’t seem to find them on their website anymore. Does Tackle Warehouse no longer sells bulk Senkos? Also, are all rods and reels marked down or do you have to call and ask for special prices?
  21. Dang, sunny catcher?
  22. Im pretty sure he said rpms did not go down, which would be weird right? I dont understand how the motor being mounted too high can cause the motor to decelerate though?
