Nice! Is the sale still going on?- Does Using Vaseline Or Corrosion Preventive Spray Work On Batteries Terminals?
I wish I would have seen this before I did it! lol. I thought the spray was conductive and sprayed everything and then tightened it down. Now I'm going to need to brush it off and redo it. lol. It already made the connection not so good.- Does Using Vaseline Or Corrosion Preventive Spray Work On Batteries Terminals?
So I found some corrosion on the battery terminals of one of my boats 2 trolling motor batteries. I cleaned it up with baking soda and water. I watched videos where they said to use Vaseline or other stuff on it afterward to prevent corrosion. I then saw specific battery corrosion protector spray at Walmart and Menards and bought some. Does this spray or Vaseline work? Has anyone used it and it hasn't worked?- Need Help For This Afternoon..

Dang. I almost bought one of those too. Got a reciept? Maybe you can exchange it.- First Bass On A Frog!
Awesome! Frogs are the best. I was fishing with a friend and a solid body frog is a great lure for a beginner because all they have to do is cast and reel in. I was explaining to her how you you be ready for a fish to pounce on your bait as it comes off of a lily pad. I showed her by casting about 20 feet and reeled my frog toward the boat. As we were watching it a bass came out from under the edge lily pad and smashed the Ragetail Toad from about 3 feet away from the boat. It was awesome and really funny that I was just talking about it and then it happened. It was also one of the only times I've been close enough to see a fish actually come out from under a lily pad to hit a lure. It was really cool.- How Do You Rig A Senko With Shrink Tubing: Heated, Unheated, Pierce It, Slide Under It?
No, I haven't tried super glue. That's a good idea. When I lost my Senko's, one time I still had the shrink tube on my hook, the other time I didn't. So super glue might have saved one of them. I am going to try heating the shrink tube after I put the hook on, shrinking the hole from the hook and seeing if that helps. If it doesn't, then super glue. lol- How Do You Rig A Senko With Shrink Tubing: Heated, Unheated, Pierce It, Slide Under It?
How long do you usually go before you lose your Senkos?- Where Are The Bass?
Well, I went fishing today with a friend and his kid. We fished near the docks. Caught 2 near the docks and lost one. However, they weren't casting in near the docks, they were caught casting out to the lake. Then went to some type of bullrush/long weeds that make up an island that is about 100 yards by 20 yards consisting only of these weeds. We really caught them casting in there with 5" senkos and Gander Mountain brand senkos. Caught 10 nice big fish and some smaller ones around the entire island of weeds. It was weird, middle of the day with the sun up and no shadows for the fish to hide, but they were in those weeds. Weeds looked similar to this, not sure what kind of weeds they were. Had fished them earlier this year with only 2 caught on white Terminator spinnerbaits.- How Do You Rig A Senko With Shrink Tubing: Heated, Unheated, Pierce It, Slide Under It?
Well, I tried two ways fishing today. I heated the shrink tubing and then pierced it with the hook and I pierced the shrink tubing without heating it. Results were the same. I caught about 3 fish before I lost the Senko. Which is still better than without shrink tubing. I also used 1" paneling nails today in the middle of the Senko's and it worked great. What I've noticed is that the hole is similar. So what I'm going to do next time is put the shrink tubing on, pierce it with the hook, and then heat the shrink tubing, hopefully shrinking the holes in the shrink tubing around the hook and make it less likely to pull out. We'll see how it goes.- Stop N Go Vs Steady Retrieve For Spooks
First couple of years only got bites on the initial splashdown. Now getting on both. I also find I only get bites on steady walk the dog. However, I did have a northern smash if, I set the hook, didn't get it, I let it sit there in the water and after a few seconds gave it a twitch and it smashed it again and I caught it.- Revo Rocket A Little Too Fast For Frogging?

+1 lol- Where Are The Bass?
So where are you finding the fish?- How Do You Rig A Senko With Shrink Tubing: Heated, Unheated, Pierce It, Slide Under It?
So losing Senko's is obviously a problem, especially since they aren't cheap. Yesterday I was fishing and lost one on the first fish. I put a new one on and the second cast I saw it fly off. I was upset. 2 lost Senkos in under 2 minutes. I have a wacky tool and rings and have not been impressed. I've still lost Senkos on fish and even lost 3 on the first few casts, after that, I stopped using the wacky tool and rings. I've read on here that people use shrink tubing to help mitigate the chance of lost Senkos. I've seen that some use a heat source to shrink the tubing while others leave it unheated. I've seen some say say that they hook between the Senko and shrink tubing like with Wacky Rings while others say they do the standard wacky hook style but pierce both sides of the shrink tubing once it's around the Senko. I even saw that one guy says narrow, clear, air tubing from a pet store works better than shrink tubing. I also thought, what is you slide the hook between the Senko and shrink tube and then heat it, tightening it up? I guess to start out with you need 3/8 shrink tubing and if you would prefer, a 4/0 Octopus hook for better hook ups. (I'm gonna try using the 4/0 Octopus hook next time and a 1" paneling nail for weight.) Piercing: Here is where you pierce the shrink tube and Senko. I see how he's done it in the below one, but can't tell if he heat shrunk it or not. Sliding between: Here's how you slide the hook between the Senko and ring/shrink tubing without piercing the Senko or shrink tubing: Here's where Guido Hibbon uses the heat shrinking method of the tube: So, how do you rig a Senko with shrink tubing? 1.) Heat the shrink tube and pierce both sides 2.) Don't heat the shrink tube and pierce both sides 3.) Pierce both sides of the shrink tube and then heat the shrink tubing 4.) Slide the hook between the shrink tube and Senko and heat it 5.) Slide the hook between the shrink tube and Senko and don't heat it 6.) Other method- Most Important Thing You Forgot At Home?
