What kind of super potent scent are you using??? the ones I use wash off easily

I can cast a 1/4oz on 13 metanium (1 inner break on, 3 outer dial) 30m no problem, and thats on a 7ft H/MF rod. With a M or ML i can probably cast 40m.

i doubt you will see much difference in distance, but the tatula sv does make it easier to cast

where I fish, the water is clear and usually has very high visibility (5-6ft). For numbers, i just fish small swimjigs, spinnerbaits and topwater. For size, 3/4oz flipping jigs with a 4.2 beaver or an 8" swimbait

you can throw as heavy as you want, as long as you have enough line on the reel. For example, if you throw 4oz lures, and you have 60lb line, you may not have enough line on your reel to fight the fish.

This isnt exactly what you are looking for, but the Fenwick Eagle rod ($69.95) 7' ML (1/8-5/8oz) moderate fast is a good rod for small topwater and cranks

stick with the steez A, that one's made for saltwater, the SV one is made for freshwater

Braid doesnt stay on my reels long enough to go bad, if thats even possible. I go through a 150yard spool in 2-3 years

why dont you run a really long leader? 15-20ft of 6lb fluorocarbon for example

I use #12 octopus.

I catch fish in 20ft of water on bright red craws and worms, pretty sure they can see red

whats the model of the hook? I can bend out a few of my gamakatsu hooks with 17lb line

Drag it, hop it, shake it. Google how to fish a football jig will yield lots of great info. Youtube videos also help

Chronarch MGL is the only real choice there for me, since lews dont make anything other than the 7:1 in left hand retrieve. If lews made all their ratios in left hand, I would still choose the chronarch because it looks better. I dont like all lettering on the lews. I like my reels slick.

No, i fish mine near the top. I have different baits for bottom

I use 70lb braid with 25 lb mono leader for baits between 2-5oz, 80lb braid with 30lb mono for baits between 5-8 oz

I like MF on most of my rods

I wacky rig yum dingers and savage gear armour worms more than anything else.
