Ugly stik rods, nothing is cheaper that lasts you for ever than a ugly stik. Ill get the Tiger ugly stik rod, but you can get any ugly stik rods of your choice. A 7 foot, to 10 foot is good, if you are using lures then get the short length (7 foot) if your doing live baits or dead bait then ill get the longer size rods (10 foot) and if you doing both, then ill get something in the middle like 8 or 9 foot.

In my opinion, Lebron is garbage. people place him very high but i still think kobe is the modern day jordan that is playing on the nba today. People say lebron is better than jordan but those people have to be on some serious drugs to compare a king with a bishop.

The best saltwater reel for that is a Penn Spinfisher V 5500 or 6500 with 30 to 50 pound braid but if you are going to use it on pier, rocks and boat, i would use 20 to 30 pound mono.

yea, sometimes it seems that way. This snook season i couldn't catch any snook, even though iv seen a 12 inch mullet getting slammed by a big 40 pound snook the other day, im going to the jetties and use red tail hawks and poppers to see if i get one, meanwhile im fishing for bass witch is my favorite gamefish to catch.

LOL, i know that quantum is made in china but that's why i said that i will get over it, and some penn reels are still made in usa. i'm still a quantum and penn freak. im just waiting for Ardent reels to get better so i can start only st.croix/G.loomis rods with Ardent reels.

everybody has their own preference. I prefer superior quality made in USA and Japan gear, I prefer quality heavy duty gear versus lightweight made in Malaysia or china gear. Its just my preference, I am not saying that the new curados are bad, because they are good reels. I will eventually get over it because sadly everything now a days is made in china or over sea, but if i have an old usa or japan made gear, i will hold on to it. Because just like the good old saying says ( they dont make em like that anymore )

Chronarch E and Curado E are very similar. The curado E was the best curado made IMO. Its is also the last made in japan quality curado made, so i prefer the chronarch E.

Jig

Yes indeed. Did you know that jigs have caught more fish than any other lure put together, also here where i'm from a jig catches more fish than even live bait. A snook prefers jigs over live bait. Jigs are superior. It is also the first lure in existence.

Its very important to have a good quality scale like berkley digital scale.

both are good companies and i have rods from both, I prefer G.Loomis. As far as frog goes, I use a long rod with a lot of backbone, I basically use my flippin and pitchin rod as my frog rod as well. Both companies make good rods.

In my opinion the most versatile lure its a jig. Works for bass, pike, muskie, snook, tarpon,redfish, tuna and marlin. I can keep on and on but you get it.

Big swimbaits Punching, flippin & pitchin Big worms My biggest bass was over 15 pounds and i got it with a big worm. And the big 25 pound bass in california was caught on a jig, you can see the video yourself on youtube. Swimbait will get you big bass as well, but some people think that only swimbaits are the only big bass lure but is untrue. So those jigs,big worms and swimbaits will get you bass.

I used to buy cheap walmart sunglasses until i did alot of research and i find out that cheap sunglasses are actually very damaging to the eyes and causes eye stress and eye fatigue. So i ended up with costa del mar and never ever looked back to another brand.

Quantum has one of the best if not, the best braking system on the market, so i advise you to set and adjust the ACS and magnet brakes to fine tune your cast. Set the ACS system to 3 or 4 and then put the magnet brake on 5 and start from there, then by time you can keep adjusting it little by little.
