Slow down there young fella's. As you may know I'm an avid Yankee fan and have been one longer than you two have been alive. Some of my best friends are Sox fans and we have a bunch of fun taking shots at each other. It is a great rivalry between two storied franchises with no love lost between them as it should be. You have some great players from Williams, Yaz to the current crew which includes Big Papi, Papelbon, Manny being Manny and a classy manager in Terry Francona. I doubt any of them would condone your wishes to set A-Rods head on fire.......just think this is a bit over the line and that you guys are better than that....I bet Big Papi would agree with me

I have a 103 and it is amazing, I think it would work just fine. The only difference I see is the 100 weighs .2 oz more and holds more line. IMHO either would be fine. They are very pricey though and although I really enjoy mine I have to say I like many of my lesser priced reels almost as well. I probably will not buy another just due to the price.

And how about some of the congress clowns grandstanding....I watched the whole thing and frankly was digusted by all parties with the possible exception of the guy from Mitchells crew who was questioned. This mess aside I still enjoy baseball and the NY Yankees. Always will, my feelings for the game and my team transcend some unsavory characters who have tainted things for a period of time. I sincerely hope this will serve as a wake up notice to all that own, manage and are employed by MLB that they owe the youth of this country better than this.

OK....time for the Yankee fan to chime in. I think Cashman and Epstien were smart not giving up what was being asked for Santana. For some reason I believe the Mets were given a more reasonable deal (wonder if it's because they are an NL team :). It was a good deal for the Mets but I for one am glad the Yankees stayed put and are going to groom the young talent.....somehow I think you Bosox fans should feel the same way. I'm excited to see how things go with Girardi grooming the youngsters and mixing that with keeping the vets happy. Will be an interesting year for us Yankee fans. For those of us in the AL East.....we better get off our high horses of the past....the Tigers and Indians should be a really fun race to watch and can easily replace the Yanks and Red Sox as the teams to beat......only 162 games to go....we'll see!!!!

I use #12 ultra soft on my baitcasters, I understand the breaking strength may be a tad less than original. I have not had any problems from that standpoint. You are right about only getting it from Cabela's. I order it online from them. I have seen it at Gander Mountain stores.
