  1. Very nice! Have you had a chance to fish the sv-3 spinnerbaits? I’m very interested in trying some. They seem like they have a smaller profile then a lot of other spinnerbaits. What color is the middle one? The football jig? It looks like a great bluegill match.
  2. In the video the appendages do seem to vibrate quite a bit. Interesting.
  3. I find these so interesting. I wonder what it is about the “fuzziness” that the fish like? I guess it just looks alive.
  4. Are you talking about the covert craws?
  5. Ah, ok. So how would it compare sensitivity wise to a champ extreme?
  6. I believe boost (as in sv boost and mag z boost) did add distance as it affects the last half of the cast. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong.
  7. So you’d say the expride is less sensitive? @rangerjockey
  8. Man they’re heavy! I guess I have a reason to get a new rod. What do you throw yours on?
  9. Would you say the Cara or expride are more sensitive than a Dobyn’s champion extreme? @GReb
  10. Sweet! I’ll have to check it out! Thank you! Edit: I’m assuming you mean the shad glide? I see an 8 inch or a 6.5 inch. Are they both good?
  11. So I’m not the only one! It just seems like craws don’t work down here. I have much better luck with beavers!
  12. What color for the worms? June bug I’m guessing?
  13. I wanna come!
  14. @Mr. Aquariumany particular brands/models you would recommend?
  15. One of Daiwa’s big selling points is their braking system. Wouldn’t Daiwa adding DC models make it seem like they’re saying “our brakes are inferior”?
  16. I have a couple Lew’s that are over 10 years old and are still running great. Doyo makes good stuff in my experience. I’m sure that reel will serve you well. Post some pics!
  17. I was talking to someone about the bottom contact 2 and it’s supposed to be great for throwing jigs from 1/4-3/4oz. That rod is actually a medium heavy/heavy. If you plan on throwing jigs/Texas rigs in the 1/2-3/4oz range I would think this would be a great choice. I have no experience with it though, so please don’t make a decision based on my opinion alone. My one hesitation was that apparently the bottom contact 2 isn’t up to pulling fish from heavy cover. I was/am looking for a rod to replace my Dobyn’s champion extreme 745 and was recommended the power pitch instead.
  18. Thank you! I’ll definitely get a few different colors. I think I’ll try the Chartreuse just so I can see the bait and make sure I’m working it correctly.
  19. Anyone ever fish these on a non bfs baitcaster?
  20. Very interested to try this. Figure I’ll use it on my senko setup. A 5” senko weighs 3/8oz. I wonder how much these plastics weigh per size. I’m trying to figure out what weight head I should go with and what size plastics to go with.
  21. Interesting. Do any of your green/brown frogs have white bellies?
  22. Haven’t seen anyone mention the spro aruku shad. I don’t fish a lot of lipless crankbaits here, but I have a few rattle traps, red eye shads and a few spro aruku shads. I’d say I like them all equally, but take that with a grain of salt as I don’t fish them much.
  23. To me it looks like a steez ct sv tw with a more bfs oriented spool. Am I missing something? How long ago did the steez ct sv tw come out? Doesn’t feel that old to me.
