  1. I’m so sorry to hear this. Cancer is truly awful. You’ll be in my prayers. I pray you and your family are able to find peace. I’m just so sorry.
  2. Good to hear! Iirc didn’t you tell me you threw weightless 5” senko on a steez a2? A 5 inch senko being 3/8oz, so that tracks with what most people say.
  3. I actually do have some of the floating rapalas. I completely forgot about them. Haven’t fished them in years. I’ll have to tie one on next time I’m out. Thanks for reminding me!
  4. Luxottica and safilo. My .02, I like Oakley.
  5. See, that’s what I keep hearing. That makes me feel better. I’d definitely be disappointed if a reel had trouble casting anything under 1/2oz.
  6. Are these floating jerk baits? Or suspending like the vision 110? I’ve been curious if it was possible to find a jerk bait to fish in the first foot or two of the water column.
  7. The head looks like a regular tadpole to me. The whole thing looks like a tadpole. Might work well in the spring when lots of tadpoles are around.
  8. Interesting. Definitely not what I wanted to hear. I’ve read plenty of comments from various people saying the steez a2 can easily cast down to 1/4oz. Are you sure it’s not the rod making lighter stuff harder to cast?
  9. Was going to suggest DVT as well. The way Daiwa responded is a bit worrying. I was thinking of buying a few steez baitcasting reels and I don’t like the idea of them being unrepairable after 5-10 years. I keep my gear until it quits for good.
  10. Would it be a bad idea to use the down shot hook on light Texas rigs with tungsten bullet weights?
  11. Very nice! Have you had a chance to fish the sv-3 spinnerbaits? I’m very interested in trying some. They seem like they have a smaller profile then a lot of other spinnerbaits. What color is the middle one? The football jig? It looks like a great bluegill match.
  12. In the video the appendages do seem to vibrate quite a bit. Interesting.
  13. I find these so interesting. I wonder what it is about the “fuzziness” that the fish like? I guess it just looks alive.
  14. Are you talking about the covert craws?
  15. Ah, ok. So how would it compare sensitivity wise to a champ extreme?
  16. I believe boost (as in sv boost and mag z boost) did add distance as it affects the last half of the cast. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong.
  17. So you’d say the expride is less sensitive? @rangerjockey
  18. Man they’re heavy! I guess I have a reason to get a new rod. What do you throw yours on?
  19. Would you say the Cara or expride are more sensitive than a Dobyn’s champion extreme? @GReb
  20. Sweet! I’ll have to check it out! Thank you! Edit: I’m assuming you mean the shad glide? I see an 8 inch or a 6.5 inch. Are they both good?
  21. So I’m not the only one! It just seems like craws don’t work down here. I have much better luck with beavers!
  22. What color for the worms? June bug I’m guessing?
  23. I wanna come!
