  1. Dobyn’s champion extreme hp 745 should work well for that. It handles a wide range of weights.
  2. Shrinkflation strikes again.
  3. Heck no! There are too many good options from several manufacturers. You’d be severely limiting yourself if you did that.
  4. I’ve been fishing the sweet beaver for over a decade and I can’t say I’ve ever left the “tail” together. Even when I plan to try it in one piece, force of habit always leads me to pull it apart. So what about you all? Do you like the tail single? Or split? single: split:
  5. Thanks Glenn. I’ll check it out later!
  6. I’m very interested in these. I love fishing jerkbaits but most of my spots just don’t have enough depth to make it work. Something that stays shallow is exactly what I’m looking for!
  7. Do you have any champion extreme hp? Which model fenwick compares and how do they compare?
  8. What trailers do you all use on these? I’m a big spunk shad guy. Do they work well on these?
  9. Wow. Only a 6.75 for the champion extreme? Interesting.
  10. Yeah, I think I’m asking a bit much. It was just a thought I had so I decided to ask here. Thanks for the info!
  11. If the p5 is as sensitive as an NRX I’m buying a half dozen! Realistically though, how sensitive are they? Any comparison to the steez ags or the Dobyn’s champion extreme?
  12. +1 for Siebert. His jigs are phenomenal.
  13. I agree. I think it would help if OP could post some pictures of the setup.
  14. I’m wondering if custom builders can buy the expride b monocoque grip/reel seat? Specifically the casting rod. I really like the expride b, but they don’t make a couple models that I would like. Heck, I’d also love the carbon wrap they use on the expride b. Is that possible? Basically I want an expride b clone in a power/action they don’t make. 😆 So, is it possible?
  15. Took the words right out of my mouth. Only difference is I even still use 25lb tatsu fluoro for moderate/heavy cover. I also have one rod with mono on it for light top waters and the occasional jerk bait.
  16. Wait. Are you saying that’s not the way to clean reels?
  17. You don’t even need the fish to bite! Just snag em!
  18. Thanks for the video. Does this still apply to people in southern states?
  19. Sweet! Can’t wait to hear more! So is it all black from the reel seat up or does it have any kind of wrap?
  20. @Mike L what rod do you use?
  21. @FishTank I’m asking this a bit late, but would you mind posting pictures of your rod? I’d like to see what it looks like. Anyone else that has one, I’d love if you could post some pictures too! Thanks!
  22. @Columbia Craw I’m a little bit late, but can you explain why? Also how does the sensitivity between the extreme and xtasy compare?
  23. Have you ever tried a daiwa steez ags? If so, how does it compare to the xtasy?
  24. Cool! I’ll check it out later and post what I think.
