  1. If the p5 is as sensitive as an NRX I’m buying a half dozen! Realistically though, how sensitive are they? Any comparison to the steez ags or the Dobyn’s champion extreme?
  2. +1 for Siebert. His jigs are phenomenal.
  3. I agree. I think it would help if OP could post some pictures of the setup.
  4. I’m wondering if custom builders can buy the expride b monocoque grip/reel seat? Specifically the casting rod. I really like the expride b, but they don’t make a couple models that I would like. Heck, I’d also love the carbon wrap they use on the expride b. Is that possible? Basically I want an expride b clone in a power/action they don’t make. 😆 So, is it possible?
  5. Took the words right out of my mouth. Only difference is I even still use 25lb tatsu fluoro for moderate/heavy cover. I also have one rod with mono on it for light top waters and the occasional jerk bait.
  6. Wait. Are you saying that’s not the way to clean reels?
  7. You don’t even need the fish to bite! Just snag em!
  8. Thanks for the video. Does this still apply to people in southern states?
  9. Sweet! Can’t wait to hear more! So is it all black from the reel seat up or does it have any kind of wrap?
  10. @Mike L what rod do you use?
  11. @FishTank I’m asking this a bit late, but would you mind posting pictures of your rod? I’d like to see what it looks like. Anyone else that has one, I’d love if you could post some pictures too! Thanks!
  12. @Columbia Craw I’m a little bit late, but can you explain why? Also how does the sensitivity between the extreme and xtasy compare?
  13. Have you ever tried a daiwa steez ags? If so, how does it compare to the xtasy?
  14. Cool! I’ll check it out later and post what I think.
  15. Username fits. 😁 I have to try out the lizard again. I haven’t used one in ages.
  16. Darn. I missed some good stuff, didn’t I?
  17. Thank you. I have a champion extreme and I’m considering getting a couple more so that’s really what I wanted to know. I have a soft spot for the expride b and was wondering if I would be better of buying them instead. The only problem I have is they don’t have all the sizes/actions I’m interested in.
  18. This. A zoom ultravibe speed worm Texas rigged with a 3/16oz or 1/4oz tungsten weight is super easy to use and also extremely effective. Just cast and use a slow but steady retrieve. It will come through grass easily and bass love it. P.S. Make sure you rig it tail down. This way:
  19. Not to hijack the thread, but how does the expride b stack up against competitors as far as sensitivity? Ie which rods are a bit more sensitive and which rods are a bit less sensitive?
  20. Good for him. He has integrity.
  21. Thanks! For some reason when I quoted you I didn’t see the picture attached.
  22. I have a couple lews from 2013ish and they’re still going strong. I quite like them. Very light, carbon handles and a good braking system.
  23. Zoom made hooks? Neat, I never knew that. Are they like a standard twistlock hook? Can you post a picture or 2 of them?
