What weights do you use with the magnum uv speed worm? Really tough to pick just three. I’d have to say in no particular order: bladed jig spinnerbait T-rigged/flippin rig beaver

I would think a wakebait would be a better choice when the water surface is calmer compared to walking/popping top water baits. Is that correct?

How do you all feel about the x bites for a weightless senko/fluke/other plastics rod? Too heavy?

Still curious about where these are made. Anyone know? Doesn’t change anything, just curious!

When putting together the 2 pieces, do you use any adhesive? Or is it just a friction fit?

Not sure but it seems baits in the color gold shiner are popular down here in south Florida, especially for peacock bass. Sorry that didn’t answer your question in the slightest!

Interesting. I was thinking the medium heavy would be a bit overkill to cast weightless senkos/flukes etc. I was originally planning on buying a Dobyn’s champion extreme hp 743 for this but I really like what I’m hearing about the Okuma X series.

This is one I’m interested in. I was curious about the 7’3 medium fast as a senko/fluke rod.

@Catt does the ROF matter as much when fishing from the bank? Especially if the water is only a few feet deep?

So the spro version is the “regular” version and the KGB Chad Shad is the resin version? What’s the difference between the two? The KGB is over $100 dollars more than the spro version.

I have such a hard time doing that. I always feel like somebody’s watching me. 😂

I use FC (tatsu) for jigs. Even my flipping/heavy cover setup has tatsu on it. I use 25lb on that setup whereas most people would use braid. To me, the “slack line” sensitivity is more important. I just don’t have the confidence to fish bottom contact baits with braid.
