Spro KGB Shad 180
Thank you for such a detailed response! How fast does the spro version sink?

Okuma X rods are Amazing thread talk
Interesting. I was thinking the medium heavy would be a bit overkill to cast weightless senkos/flukes etc. I was originally planning on buying a Dobyn’s champion extreme hp 743 for this but I really like what I’m hearing about the Okuma X series.

Dedicated Soft Plastics Casting Rod
This is one I’m interested in. I was curious about the 7’3 medium fast as a senko/fluke rod.

Siebert sniper trailer??
I’ve never heard of those. I like the look of them!

why am I much less successful with full sized jigs?
@Catt does the ROF matter as much when fishing from the bank? Especially if the water is only a few feet deep?

Spro KGB Shad 180
So the spro version is the “regular” version and the KGB Chad Shad is the resin version? What’s the difference between the two? The KGB is over $100 dollars more than the spro version.

Getting the jig figured out
I have such a hard time doing that. I always feel like somebody’s watching me. 😂

Absolutely in love with jigs!!!!
@Bluebasser86 What are your top colors?

Proper line for Jigs
I use FC (tatsu) for jigs. Even my flipping/heavy cover setup has tatsu on it. I use 25lb on that setup whereas most people would use braid. To me, the “slack line” sensitivity is more important. I just don’t have the confidence to fish bottom contact baits with braid.

Invasive Snakeheads: Threat or Trophy? The Surprising Truth Behind the Hype
We have them down here in Florida. Bullseye snakeheads. It’s fascinating in the summer, you’ll see them in the skinniest water guarding their fry. The fry looks like one giant moving fluid mass.

Anybody?

Seaguar R18
Is this better than tatsu? As of right now, all I use is tatsu. Any reason to try this?

Broken line on a pb!!!!
Did you not watch the video Glenn posted? Fair point. Some of the places here it’s just not possible to get to the waters edge. Very steep banks on canals. Plus alligators are always in the back of the mind.

Japan Trip
Can you bring me back some vision 110 sr and a Daiwa steez a2? 😁

Is that the buckeye lures mop jig? I have a bunch of those that I completely forgot about until I saw your post.

Broken line on a pb!!!!
If it’s a double digit bass wouldn’t that break the rod? Also isn’t it bad for the fishes slime coat to slide it across rocks/dirt/grass?

Vision 110 SR
Can’t wait to hear what you think! I’m really curious how deep these run.

Giant on the 6th Sense Panorama
Guess I have a few more things to add to my shopping list!

How heavy are you talking?
-
Broken line on a pb!!!!
So without grabbing the line, how would you pull a fish in if you’re fishing from the bank but can’t get close to the water?

Okuma X rods are Amazing thread talk
Any of you have the 7’3 medium fast casting model? I’m wondering if it would make a good weightless senko/fluke etc rod. And maybe once in a while a 3/16-1/4oz t rigged trick worm.

Giant on the 6th Sense Panorama
Anyone know how the panorama was rigged?

2025 Steez CT SV TWS
So the ct is smaller than the sv? I always thought it was the other way around! 😆 Anyone happen to have pics of the 2 side by side?
