Fishing Ledger
For the old heads… Do you still keep a log of every catch? Example of the data you record.. Is it beneficial? Do you see history repeat itself on a yearly basis? Does it clue you in on where to start each new trip?

Dunkin's podcast
In his recent podcast with Justin Lucas at the beginning during his ad segment he mentions a short spot about "fishing tips." Is anyone familiar with this? He said pros will probably hate on him for sharing it but it is a great resource to help professionals, guides, and weekend anglers fishing somewhere for a vacation. When I did a quick search, I didn't find any results. Is this a service you subscribe to? Is this a website? Would someone mind to fill me in on the scoop lol.

My evolution of jig fishing
So in early spring/late spring you position your boat shallow near the shore and make a long cast and work the bait from deeper water towards the shallow up the point? And in the late summer/fall you position your boat over deep water and cast shallow and drag and let the bait fall down the point?

I was sent a kind note from Bass-Tracker..
I run a 2007 Triton VT 17 with a 50HP. I upgraded the electronics to a Garmin 93 UHD on the console and a Garmin Echomap 73sv on the bow. I took off the 46lb 12V Motorguide Trolling Motor and upgraded it to the Motorguide Tour Pro with Pinpoint 82lb 24V. Added a second 12v battery. I fish local tournaments out of that boat. It fits easily in my garage, it's easy to pull, easy on gas, I can beach it near rock without worrying about hurting it and it will drift in as shallow of water as the trolling motor can go. Two people can fish from it comfortably. It's not a speed demon I can run 32mph by myself in calm water and roughly 29-30mph with a partner. Most importantly I bought the boat outright so I own it and it's sentimental to me because it's my first bass boat. I've thought many times about trading it but I just cannot justify going into debt and taking on a monthly payment when there isn't really need to. The next thing I want to do is add Livescope Plus. In order to do so I will need to add a new unit on the front bow which I don't really want to drop 3K right now but may some day.

Favorite spinnerbait brand?
The Terminator double silver willow in silver shad paired with a pearl zoom swimming fluke has produced more and bigger fish than any other two spinnerbaits I have ever thrown combined.

Swim jigs
1/2 oz dirty jigs swim jig with a berkley maxscent meaty chunk. Work the rodtip as you burn it under the surface. If you approach a target slow it down or let it fall to maximize time in the strike zone. Black/Blue in early spring, prespawn, or dirty water Green Pumpkin for post spawn or bluegill spawn or bream beds White/Silver for shad spawn and fall I honestly like to start throwing them the most immediately after post spawn as summer patterns set in..

does anyone compete (Successfully) in a bass tournament in a small boat?
It took me about 2hrs lol

does anyone compete (Successfully) in a bass tournament in a small boat?
I fish local and state level tournaments from a 17ft with a 50HP. With a big field or big lake I just pick my starting locations strategically and don't race anyone to get to a starting spot. I fished a two day tournament on Chickamauga out of Dayton and made a run from Dayton to Chester Frost. I have never outright won a tournament, but I rarely ever finish at the bottom either.
