  1. There are over 30 clubs in the Southern NJ area. Check the SJBCA website. I'm in SJ Hawg Hunters.
  2. The winter league trail here in South Jersey has been brutal. Week after week the results have really sucked. Good luck!!!
  3. I know of the the pond but have never heard any bass info. Bargaintown and Lake Lenape are close by. They both produce good fish.
  4. Hit Mary Elmer in South Jersey this morning. Water temps started at 43 and went up to 46. I had three bites, two bass and a pickerel. The Silver Rapala HJ-10 fished around submerged wood was the deal. All bites came on the pause. Worked a jig/chunk for a while but had no takers.
  5. Of course the t's will be cancelled if there is ice. Some years are obviously worse than others.
  6. We have two leagues here in South Jersey. Ike usually fishes a few of them. 2015 11/7/15 Newton, 11/14/15 Parvins, 11/21/15 Malaga, 11/28/15 Rainbow, 12/5/15 Union, 12/12/15 cedarville, 12/19/15 Wilson, 12/26/15 Parvins 2016 1/2/16 SVP, 1/9/16 Malaga, 1/16/16 Rainbow, 1/23/16 Union, 1/30/16 Shawsmill, 2/6/16 Rainbow, 2/13/16 Parvins, 2/20/16 Malaga 2/27/16 union $30 a boat $5 pic pot (optional) $5 miscellaneous pot (optional) All tournaments are 7:00am till 1:00pm """except Wilson lake""" 7:30 till 1:30 100% payout 2015-2016 EXTREME WINTER LEAGUE SCHEDULE 11/8/15 Parvins 7:00am-1:00pm 11/15/15 Rainbow 7:00am-1:00pm 11/22/15 Parvins 7:00am-1:00pm 11/29/15 Davis Mill 7:00am-1:00pm 12/6/15 Parvins 7:00am-1:00pm 5 fish limit /12 inches Parvins- 3 fish limit /15 inches $40 per boat/ Buddy format (We welcome solo anglers) Optional: $5 Lunker Pickerel
  7. Traps, jigs. Jerk baits as it gets colder(45 degree) water temps. Blade baits, hair jigs when water temps are in the 30's.
  8. "Ike" fished a local buddy tourney yesterday and did not win. Nor did he make the top 3. 17 boats competed at a highly pressured puddle about ten minutes from his house. It's impossible to win every event.
  9. "Ike" Mike Iaconelli fishes winter league tournaments here in South Jersey against us regular fishermen. He does not win all the time. So anything is possible.
  10. 5.17lb largie from Parvin State Park this morning. 1/2oz Booyah jig w/ Zoom chunk.
  11. Nice job, NJ Salt. I hit Mary Elmer instead of Rainbow yesterday. Caught seven largies. A few on wacky rig Senkos and the rest on a SK Redeye lipless crank. All fish were 2lbs +. Lost a 3.5-4lber at the boat.
  12. Anyone get out lately??? I'm hitting Rainbow lake tomorrow morning.
  13. Final Standings for 2015. My partner and I led from day 1. We also finished first in our 2 day Classic event. Off to the Susquehana Flats this Sunday. Launching from Anchor Marina. Top three teams from each club compete. 33 teams/boats total. (FINAL - As of Hawg Hunters Classic Tourney) Place Team POINTS Tourneys Wins Total Bass Total Weight 1. 14. So true for me!!!! I would say my top ten best fish would be in this time period.
  15. What water??? Depth. Anyway, I would go with moving baits like lipless cranks, regular cranks, spinner/chatterbait. Cover plenty of water until you find aggressive fish. Don't forget about the almighty JIG!!!!
  16. I pull a 16' Tracker with an 06' 4.0 Jeep Rubi with ZERO issues. Helps to have 4 wheel disc brakes. I'm getting a 17' Tracker and plan on using the same tow vehichle.
  17. It's a smallie J. Remember I was telling you they were showing up everywhere in SJ waters. People were taking them out of Lake Audrey by the hundreds and dumping the fish in every body of water.
  18. Cooler, crisp mornings...
  19. Maybe board member jyu87 can help you. He used to be a HARDCORE bank guy in that area up until he joined my bass club.
  20. I know a lot of guys that either fish it or have fished the clear waters. Bank fishing is a waste of time UNLESS the spawn season is in full force. Drop shot fishing in deep water will get them for now.
  21. Maybe in the storage areas?? I have a 16' Tracker with FOUR batteries. One is in my front compartment.
  22. Bargaintown Lake (SJ Hawg Hunters) 9/12 9 teams competed for 6 1/2 hours. Dead calm early, then a nice breeze through out the morning. Zeke and Jason(jyu87) finished in first with 10.37lbs. Jason's 4lb+ PB put them over the top. My team finished second for 9.59lbs. We had 5 bass with 2 1/2 hours remaining, but in the end we could not cull out the little 12 1/2" fish. Sean had the lunker at 5.69lbs. Most fish were caught on plastics, spinnerbaits and topwater. South Jersey Hawg Hunters Date: 9/12/2015 Format: Five bass limit, 12 inch minimum. Weather: Mixed sun & clouds, warm, calm. Later - breezy. Top 3....: 1. Zellman/Yu Team (Zeke Zellman & Jason Yu) Total Bass/Weight = 5 / 10.37 lbs Points = 19 2. F.Lentz/Nemeth Team (Fred Lentz & Joe Nemeth) Total Bass/Weight = 5 / 9.59 lbs Points = 14 3. S.Summers/L.Summers Team (Sean Summers & Adam Satanoff) Total Bass/Weight = 3 / 8.55 lbs Points = 15
  23. Davis Mill is a different Pond. It's located in Southern Cumberland County.
