i like mine when it works. in the less than 1 year I've owned it, it's had a defective foot pedal and now it's back in the shop again, probably a bad control board. I'm tempted to just sell it once I get it fixed

that would surprise me since the current rods sell so well at the $100 price point which seems to be the sweet spot for a lot of bass rods. If they don't use micro guides, they should be less than the $150 price point

I didnt realize the predator's rod lockers were so short. It's funny because even my Lund Rebel XL 1650 has 8FT rod storage.

the 1850 impact XS has the same type of jump seats as the Tyee and Crossover. The Impact 1775 and 1875 have the optional aft conversion seats. I have those on my Rebel 1650 and they are amazing. folded down it doubles the size of the rear casting deck. folded up it gives you two very nice seats for kids or normal sized adults (probably dont want someone over 200lbs back there)

have you looked at the Lund Impact series? i'm assuming you have an explorer now and the Impact is the successor to that line of boats. I think it would be more in line with the G3 in price, unless you really wanted those wide gunwales. The Alumacraft competitor line is another one you should look at.
