College Fishing
My advice: Don't wait. I said the same thing. I wanted to start a club but I kept pushing it aside. Now I'm about to graduate and too busy to have any time left for a club. You may end up regretting it if you put it off. x298347590283745 I wish I had started one where I am...I regret not doing it

Need some rod selection help !!!
Reeds, ***, Simmons Extremes are a good choice if you're looking for quantity and quality, when they go on sale at $60 a piece it's hard to beat. I can tell a difference in sensitivity between the extremes and avid/LTs though

MegaStrike Scent
x2 it helps lube the bait up and makes it slide through the muck alot easier.

St.Croix legend tournament Rods!!!!
On a money saving point of view, at $220+ per rod and looking at 6 rods ... ~$1200+ I know sensitivity is relative but when comparing my avid to my LT's I couldn't feel any differences But of course if you have the cash and love the split grip design go for it!

St.Croix legend tournament Rods!!!!
I love my LT's and got a great deal on all of them. Though if you're looking to outfit yourself with so many rods I'd go for Avids

MegaStrike Scent
I was going for the Attractant issue....but I agree mostly with what you said. I don't think cranks or spinners would benefit too much...buzzbaits I feel would benefit from some and so would soft plastic swimbaits where the hooks aren't exposed. Having the fish hold on longer can never be a bad thing.

MegaStrike Scent
That's why I mentioned that we should place a lure inside a large object so scent "leaks" out slowly, this would keep fish from identifying it as food at first (since it's so large, rather than squirting the gel like substance into the tank). If they come sniffing and try to get the lure out of the object then I would believe that the scent attracts

MegaStrike Scent
the scent will spread around and eventually go everywhere without a point source...in a properly filtered tank. The gel itself going into the tank may attract fish also.

MegaStrike Scent
The real test would be if you were to put something that looks nothing like any type of bait at all...say...a keyboard/old shoe/boxing glove, full of megastrike scent on the other side of the tank from where fish were. If the bass were to come over investigate and nip at random inanimate objects solely because it smelled good then I would believe that MegaStrike attracted bass. Or better yet, hide a tube bait full of Megastrike into an object and see if they come looking for it. Like Okie says, the observations you described seems to point to the fact that it does keep the attention of fish rather than attract them. Which is why I love to use your product.

Rage Products Questions
I'm loving the Rage Shad, craziest top water hits i've ever experienced. The tails on these don't last too long though but well worth the cost when you're getting slammed.

Fishing Gloves????
Try the North Face Apex bionic gloves. They're water proof and warm and you can pick em up at most sporting goods stores. I got my Seal skinz gloves and socks on ebay. I love the socks but the gloves are kinda iffy, they don't let your hands breathe as well as they let on....but they are waterproof

Help: St. Croix Mojo Rods
I think he's saying something like...the rod is priced at $100, but it's really only worth $50, so +$50 for st croix. So if you go and get it replaced for $50 (st croix + another $50, total $100) They give you a rod (-$50 for st croix) and they're still at +$50. I agree that a rod at this price point doesn't make it really worth taking the accidental coverage into consideration. However any rods above (Avids +) make it worthwhile.

Help: St. Croix Mojo Rods
Loomis and st croix warranties cover that...ship the borken rod to them +$50 and they'll send you a new one

Parking at Huntsman Lake NOVA.
I've found that the best place to park is along Golden Ball Tavern ct. close to where it meets Golden Leaf ct. There's a trail that leads down to the lake, and puts you as close to the water as possible. Link to googlemaps

Night Vision
Though I don't have any experience with Night Vision, I've read that first generation night vision like the technology that's on those goggles are horrible.
