What Gimmicks Do You Remember?
I have had both the spinning reels with the trigger and the Tenn. handles. I still have 2 rods with the Tenn handle, a Lew's and a Skyline. There use to be a casting rod that came out, the guides started on the top and wrapped around to the bottom, never had one of those. The most gimmick I have seen is a wood handle for a casting rod. This guy came to the biggest sporting goods in town advertising a wood handle. This was when pistol grip was the norm. He would cut off your pistol grip and install his wooden grip on your rod. Claims you can feel better with the wood grip. He destroyed many a good rod that day !!! Yes, I got one.

Fishing Fleamarkets
I have never heard of one. When I was in a bass club years ago, we would have an yearly garage sale which included fishing tackle, lures, etc. We would raise about $500 in 4 hours for the club.

Sounds like to me she is trying to make you worry. Tell her to take a pregnant test and let you see the results.

Good spinning reels for the money
I also suggest the Pfluegers, take a look at the President Limited Edition. It's a little less weight and higher gear ration. Also a good looking reel.

70 Degrees In Ky In December?
It's going to be 63 degrees and sunny tomorrow in Mississippi. Think I might have to go see if the crappie is biting.

Best pond crappie baits
In cold weather, I like the 1/16 oz. hair jigs, a guy in my state makes some of the best ones I have seen. In summer, I like the tube jigs.

Flick Shake rod...ML or M spinning rod
I would suggest Pflueger reels. Even their cheapest President is a mighty fine reel. I like the 30 size reel with Sunline 7 or 8# test Sniper fc.I have the Pflueger Supreme XT with 7# fc, love it.
- Great Prank

Need some advice
Maybe you need to quit gaming, or at least lay off of it for a while. I play golf so I know what you mean. I think about it this way, it's only a stupid game, there are other things a lot more important.

Flick Shake rod...ML or M spinning rod
I believe Med./light is the way to go. I fish the Ned Rig, small shakey heads, on my St Croix Avid MLXF and it works really well.

Huk Shirts?
I wear Huk or similar long sleeve shirts in the summer. They are really not that hot. I have had skin cancer cut off my arm so I am very careful in the sun.

Where's All The Angling Guitar Players?
Instead of starting a new topic, I found this one in search. Anybody else play guitar. Started back in the 60's, got back into in the late 90's and played for about 7 or 8 years. Well like bass fishing I started again last year. Love to play surf songs, Ventures, The Belairs, etc. So anybody still playing. Sow some pictures of you guitars if you have them. I have a 2000 Fender Tele 52' RI through a Deluxe Fender Reverb, and a Taylor 714 cedar top.

Mono backing on 50-65 pound braid
12, 14, 20, I don't think it really matters on backing. Your just taking up space on your spool.

Uncle Josh - Discontinuing Pork Trailers
Back in the day, 70's/80's, throwing a black/blue jig with a Uncle Josh pork lizard was the real deal. Probably still is if I could find the lizards.
