  1. It will take some time to get use to it but I believe it will be for the best. Thanks to Glenn and everyone who works on the site.
  2. Thanks Wayne, I did read them. I realize it said 1oz per gal. in tanks. This is other stuff I have read on the internet, just wanted to get some opimions.
  3. I guess I should have added that I use non ethanol gas and I use my boat all year so there is no winterazation. I assume that putting gas in the cyclinders would be for decarboning. Motor is a carbed 90hp Johnson, 1997.
  4. If you are going to use a tackle box, that Plano 7771 is a great looking box. !!!!
  5. Picked up a can of Seafoam the other night in Walley World. I then Googled Seafoam and found a bunch of info. Some loved it some hated it. Some used it in gas taink, some in cyclinders. Now I am more confused than before. I am thinking that i can put it in my taink and it will help somewhat, kind of like Sta Bilt. The other method is remove plugs, put about 4 ounces in each cyclinder and leave it for 2 days, after two days, with plugs removed, turn over motor to remove what Seafoam that is still in cyclinders. Put plugs in and run motor. Is this a good method. What do you think about Seafoam. How do you use it.
  6. Congrats on the new boat, i am sure you and your family will enjoy it. I think Alumacraft is a great brand.
  7. Didn't know this. I was thinking about dipping some TRD,s. Glad to know this.
  8. Most companies have free shipping for a min. amount, I always can find enought items to ship free.
  9. When I began back fishing the first of the year, I had never tries FC and thought my Trilene mono was all I need. After a little research, I tried the Sunline Sniper and now that is all I use. it really throws to me like mono and i use 20# test on two of my reels. It is a little expensive but I spooled up in the springand it is still on my reels.
  10. Like most PowerPro hi-vis yellow on my spinning with FC leader.
  11. I use the 10# Super 8 Slick with 7# leader on my spinning rod. No problem with the knot going through the guides. It is like it has no knot.
  12. Well he's probably went home and measured it himself. Looks like mine is 8 3/8 x 12.
  13. Zoom U Tail in Junebug, hard to beat around these parts.
  14. Since starting back fishing the first part of the year, I never heard of the Ned Rig. Only in the last two month have I heard of it and now it is all I want to throw. This rig will catch fish.
  15. Any gift card is fine with me. Easy on the giver and makes me happy, a win win situation. I like the Visa cards. You can use them anywhere.
  16. Got a new St Croix spinning rod 6'9" ML for Ned Rig and Drop Shoting, would like to work on both of these techniques next year.
  17. If you are fishing with a buddy, 14 ft is min., longer is better if you going to use a trailer. If you fish by yourself 10-12 ft will work.
  18. Can't go wrong with Sniper. I think it's the best FC on the market.
  19. Just choose reel you like, all handle braid pretty well. I like Lew's.
  20. Use Sunline Sniper FC, best I used. To me, it cast like mono. Cost a little more than some of the other FC but well worth it. I do use mono on topwater and some crankin'.
  21. It's a shame that you can't go fishing or any activity or just going some where, that you have that threat of someone shooting you. This happen just a few miles from my house. If someone tries messing with me they will have to answer to "The Judge" and he is not in a court room.
  22. I tried both and really perfer the TRD, you have to really work with the Zinker Z to get it to float, I soak and stretch them and sometimes it is really too much trouble when the TRD works great. Really I don't think bass really care which one you use. If they get that picky, I need to take up golf. Wait a minute, I do play golf. Great article though.
  23. The Balancer Removeable Butt Cap is the one I use. You can use the weights provided or quarters or both.
  24. Don't think that just because it is cold that they are not in the shallows. I use to fish a 12 acre lake and caught bass in the shallows year round.
