  1. I am forever seeking casting consciousness grasshopper.
  2. Googled them but didn’t get a link.
  3. The whole stinking scenario is wrong. For anyone, you should be hired on your own personal merit. Merit, ability, qualifications, experience, history of success. Race and gender should not factor in. That goes for Flores.
  4. There is a manufacturing network in Asia and if you want hard baits, design a copycat design is easily provided. You want a reel to compliment your rod series. No problem. The computer design can be tweaked to import your feature list. Kistler, Duckett, Eagle Claw, Fitzpatrick, and now Ark and Dobyns have entered the market.
  5. On my first trip to Clear Lake, I purchased several football head jigs with the EWG hook. They were knew to me. I still have a few and they are very similar to the Dobyns model. My and my partners hook up ratio was outstanding. I couldn’t have been more please. My experience with all Dobyns tackle has been nothing but positive.
  6. A 7 foot medium heavy moderate action with a limp 15 pound mono will cover most of the situations. I’m happy with Sunline Super Natural. This is for 100 series buoyant baits, I’ll scale back for smaller baits like a Crush 50 or similar size model.
  7. I heard Berkley just issued a recall on all their hard baits. I guess the alloys used in the weighting and sound chambers have high radio active levels.
  8. I’ll take the dropping tide whenever possible. On my waters, rising water levels spreads bass out and dropping levels concentrate them.
  9. I have a Zillion G and it is impressive.

  11. And you ca figure on being shot if you get caught cheating.
  12. When: The family pet has hooves. When you’re driving you have a miniature pot bellied pig on your lap. You garbage disposal is a goat. You go to the baby food aisle and look for Gerber biscuits and gravy. You call Kitty Kitty and the raccoons come to the door. You think having elevated A1C means you qualify for junior college. You were in your thirties when you found out Canada was not in Europe.
  13. The three F’s Finding them Figuring out the bite Flipping them over the side in that order. If catching them is a result of applying what I’ve learned that is satisfying and rewarding to me. Sharing that with a partner is even better!
  14. My experience with a jig, tube, Ned, hula grub as they apply to smallmouth is dragging them produced far more strikes than a presentation that mimics a stop/ defensive posture. For largemouth, dragging a football jig again elicits more strikes. Outside of that, a lift swim and fall is the go to retrieve. In most all cases, the trailer has a swimming/ claw flutters action or a waving or glide action. I guess if having a crawfish imitation with upright posture was the goal, a flat bottom shaky head would be my best rigging option. I want to hear Catt’s thoughts. He dotes on the jig and craw.
  15. I use Dobyns SB heads at two bucks each. That seems in line for a product of that quality. Three are other brands of lesser quality at a buck and a half each. Cost of doing business. No gas, no squeegee
  16. Sierra is a great choice. There is another option IF you like a faster tip, Kaden 715 or 745. Same price point.
  17. 6th Sense Cloud 9 15 Normans DD 22
  18. First fish was a rainbow at five years old. Caught my first bass on a Red Devil spoon at eight. I’m 68.
