I do a lot of fishing in a creek behind my grandparents house. I was wondering if it is possible to catch fish in a creek around this time of year if so what kind of bait should a go with and how should i fish it?....I live in southern middle tennessee...the temperature changes a lot it can go from 35-45 some dyas to 50-60 degrees in stretches

around 40 striped bass and 30 bluegill 2 bass 1 catfish

very rarely maybe once in every 10 times i go out

when its right in front of their face

they could just be old n tired...i dunno this is wierd ive never seen it before

its most likely an underwater spring...there could be some bass located near it

if you cant find a creek scan the water and look for bubbles continually coming up to the surface in one spot...this could indicate a spring and bass could congregate around this area because it should provide them with the oxygen they need...it could also attract smaller baitfish which in turn would also attract the bass

I mostly fish a small creek in my town...there is a small pool that i frequently fish...i can see the fish in it and it is maybe 3-4 ft. deep...there are a couple of 1 and a half pound smallmouth in there some catfish and bream...what lure would work best....i fish it with a rooster tail ive tried all size combinations and colors and ive tried varying my retrieve speed but they just wont bite...please give me some help yall

yeao get you a trailer hook...might trim the skirt a little too...might even paint hook color red

it depends on what ive got goin on...if i dont have nothin to do for a whole week then ill usually go bout 4-5 days also dependin on the weather...if im workin then ill go one or twice a week...i go every frida,saturday,and sunday in the summer

i would use a combination of christmas trees and anything else listed on the replies to vary your bass cover

i guess it depends on how long your on the water...if your only staying out for a shor period of time say, maybe an hour then that is a good bass count...but if your out there fishin for six hours thats a little low but it could depend on where you are fishing and how much pressure is on the fish i suggest using lures that other anglers arent using

spot number one should be perfect if you keep fishin in that earea you should eventually catch a big one on a topwater early in the mornin...if your fishin at dusk i suggest a rattle trap or a deep divin crankbait at midday with beads in it whatever floats your boat
