  1. Well my dad used to take us when we were wee little which wasnt all that long ago. But then he just stopped. :-/ About 2 years ago, I was golfing and seen a bunch of carp and was thinking hmmmm? Boy the rest was history. ;D
  2. I would say the guided trips that daniel listed. Sure G loomis rods, curados, and lucky crafts would be nice. But what are you going to remeber more, buying your stuff and fishing with it, or catching the biggest bass of you life? Now I want $5000!
  3. What kind of basser do you consider yourself? I consider myself a junk fisherman because I dont stay with the same bait and will throw everything I got at them till I got a pattern that will bring in the numbers and size.
  4. ;D ;D ;D Classic!
  5. How much room does a PFD take up anyway, you cant really not have any room in your boat to at least add 1 PFD. O well, I called the game warden in ohio once. They got away because there was no size limit on smallmouth posted. HA!!!!!!! Why would you keep a 5" smallmouth anyway. :'(
  6. Maybe try a new approach, maybe use something you havent used yet. Soft plastics are one of the most productive baits in ponds, try using those. T rigged weightless senkos are money in ponds.
  7. What he says would be my number 1 choice Also senkos as most said... Small finese worms, jigs, and tubes would work well also.
  8. Those are some sweet replicas, I bet those things hurt the wallet :'(.
  9. Amazing how you get all kinds of answers, I would never think to throw a rattle trap at a time like that. Anyway I would try something small if you can see the bass jumping throw a small popper, better yet try a small wacky worm.
  10. Junk Fishin' Eh? I am an extreme junk fisherman, I never have less then 6 rods on deck and at the end of the day each rod will have something different on there then there was before. I will fish until I find a solid pattern which I know will bring in a good bag. Which never happens ;D
  11. Been holding my own on poppers lately, horney toads have been killer too.
  12. I am guessing its hook size, is 3/0 on all my senkos, it may be hook quality also.
  13. Anywhere you are fishing, fishing near structure is always your best bet. SUre casting in the middle of the lake might catch you a few fish but if you are going to fish senko's, flukes, or slugos, cast them near weeds, trees, lilypads, or anything that is structure in the lake. I seem to have most of my luck, on or near weeds with senkos. And I fish senkos really slow.
