newb from Virginia
welcome! I'm beginning to wonder how the forum's demographics break down as far as how many members are from each state. Virginia has got to be in the top 5.

use for a broken rod/pieces?
I've already got a graphite helmet. Anyone else need one?

Comments?
this article was written 3 years ago and the snakeheads have been here longer than that. I think the P'mac is holding up just fine.

Comments?
har har Muddy, but from what I gather, this stuff is happening upstream from DC. (although there is a large sewage treatment plant just downstream of DC) and guys, they say very plainly that they don't know what is causing these mutations.

for you rock fans
that is one bizarre video. His voice reminds me of Freddie Mercury.

22 year girl jamming with Jeff Beck...
I saw a video of her playing with Jeff Beck on the "Live at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club" album from 2007. I thought she was even younger than she is. When I saw James Cotton play live he had a 14 year old saxophone prodigy play with him.

Buzzbait quandry
it's ten posts. Not a big deal. If you are actually going to contribute to the forum then you'll have them in no time.

Why did I find BR.com on facebook?
well, you are Captain Obvious, but: try clicking the "Request to Join" button when you are viewing the group on FB...that seems like a good place to start.

Too cute! (baseball fans)
that's pretty cute but it would have been HILARIOUS if it was a homerun hit by the other team.

NY's lone redeeming quality
Me, go to NY? ;D Not bloody likely. I mean you bought sausage from New York as opposed to somewhere closer?

Weighted Hook Size for Fluke?
yeah, if I want to fish a fluke deep I use a 4/0 or 5/0 1/8oz keel weighted wide gap hook. I think I also fish some 1/16oz but I usually fish 1/8

Vince Young...
It seems to me that him doing things like this indicates a "straight head"

NY's lone redeeming quality
you're telling me you had to go all the way to NY to find a good sausage?

History Mystery....
I've read stuff like this before and each time I think it'd be worthwhile to check all the facts. I'm sure it'd be pretty easy to make some of those up without anyone even caring to check them.

use for a broken rod/pieces?
That's what I was thinking but I wasn't sure how hard it would be to salvage them.

Your Jobs... what are they?
don't. Make it last as long as you can. Trust me.

use for a broken rod/pieces?
I have a broken Kistler Magnesium Telescopic flipping stick. It was shipped to me broken and I got a new one that made it to me in one piece. So now I've had a broken rod sitting in my basement for months and I don't know whether to throw it out or what...There's got to be something I can do with the components or pieces, right? It's just snapped right above where it telescopes. Should I just throw it out or is there something I can do with it?

Your Jobs... what are they?
22, just graduated from JMU. Currently looking for a job and fishing a lot. Hopefully I will find something to do with international stuff/government in some way.

Allstar Platinum vs. Kistler Magnesium
I would get the Kistler simply because of the extra length for fishing t-rigs and jigs but I guess that is a preference thing. I love my Magnesium flipping stick for jigs. I wish I had a 6'9" for t-rigs and lighter jigs.
