  1. I also like a higher ratio for frogs to get them out as quick as possible. I honestly don't think the excessive drag is necessary, nor is the added bulk of the 300 size Curado. I think the E7 would be your best bet.
  2. That'll be a sweet setup Craiger. If you want to use braid, the higher diameter stuff (50lb and higher) is a peace of cake to get out of a birds nest.
  3. most of the paddletail swimbaits have a varying degree of wobbling in the body. As long as you make sure the hook is centered then it will run the way it is supposed to.
  4. Well the other stuff is pretty cool but I have been wanting to buy a Mikey Sr. for a while now but didn't want to order one without every seeing it in person. I thought I remembered Hooker Bait and Tackle having a LOT of Jackall stuff? Or was that Megabass?
  5. Did they get any Mikey Seniors?
  6. nice!
  7. I just had a Punch today. it wasn't a Gran Puro but I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for the recommendation. I also picked up an Oliva Series G and a Series V to try.
  8. what waxy gummy coating are you talking about?powerpro has the worst coating in the world.to me that's a waxy gummy coating.the new fireline braid loses some color and softens a bit but i would hardly call it a waxy gummy coating. It almost felt like wax-coated dental floss or something. I don't see anything wrong with PowerPro's coating, it changes color but other than that there's nothing wrong with it.
  9. so where'd they put the Lucky Crafts?
  10. I'm fine with my PP so far but maybe I'll give it a shot when I run out. If I don't like it, I'll send you the bill. ;D
  11. I just can't get over the waxy/gummy coating enough to try it.
  12. I've been doing so well with the Spro and TT that I haven't even tried my River2Sea. I'll have to try it the next time I go froggin'
  13. yeah, 8lb test and a medium spinning rod is probably not what most people are going to use for flipping/pitching. and by most I mean you're probably the only one. ;D
  14. or even say, 15th place... :-/
  15. I thought I had read that she was bipolar?
  16. I would start with green pumpkin and black flake.
  17. The Lazer Sharps aren't too bad but all the other stuff that I've used has been horrible. Some of it rusted in my box before I could even use it.
  18. Yeah, but it's not like he wasn't worth it when he did play: AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year (2005) 3× Pro Bowl selection (2005, 2006, 2007) 3× All-Pro selection (2005, 2006, 2007)
  19. Whining over the Hokies getting whipped. ;D Two words for you: Go Pirates! I thought about you at the game yesterday. ;D I hope you aren't talking about ECU. They really let a FCS team make the game exciting.
  20. My PowerPro faded colors really fast but it's been the same since it's first few uses and it still works great.
  21. Wow, that looked great. That guy was on a pretty good run but I wish they had shown the kill streak bonuses in action.
  22. Looks awesome. I wish I could find places like that around me.
  23. Dan: replied to burleytog's topic in Everything Else
on College Scoreboard they were talking about that. They said something about a new rule that made it illegal.
  24. Oh yeah, I forgot about Tyrod Taylor -26 rushing yards. ;D. yup. They really shouldn't waste his speed. They need to try to run him more often. I'm not sure if it would have helped last night but I think it would add to their offense if they called some plays that let him run free.
