That'll be a sweet setup Craiger. If you want to use braid, the higher diameter stuff (50lb and higher) is a peace of cake to get out of a birds nest.

most of the paddletail swimbaits have a varying degree of wobbling in the body. As long as you make sure the hook is centered then it will run the way it is supposed to.

what waxy gummy coating are you talking about?powerpro has the worst coating in the world.to me that's a waxy gummy coating.the new fireline braid loses some color and softens a bit but i would hardly call it a waxy gummy coating. It almost felt like wax-coated dental floss or something. I don't see anything wrong with PowerPro's coating, it changes color but other than that there's nothing wrong with it.
