  1. Sounds like a good plan! That is, as long as you post pics of the new custom job whenever you get it...I've seen some of Matt's work and...
  2. Balance is one thing, sensitivity is another! ;D
  3. anybody else notice this: I found it pretty funny...

yeah, if you wouldn't mind giving me a spot to find them I would really appreciate it.
  5. I didn't know about that one but there are tons of legal ways to get high if you do enough research. Some people will do anything to alter themselves.
  6. sounds like they recommend MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware. Everyone should get that program and run it periodically. It's a great (and free) utility that will help in the event of infection.

can you buy them or do you have to grow/find your own?
  8. They kept going out when I tried to light one lmao. I laughed at first but then I thought about what a lit Ho-Ho would taste like and I kinda threw up a little.
  9. I recommended this: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_37107_100011010_100000000_100011000_100-11-10

I don't think I've ever consciously noticed that fruit. What do they taste like? Do you just eat them raw or use them in dishes?
  13. What exactly is a Pixzilla?
  14. What ocean? lol, nice. HANK: So, are you Chinese or Japanese? KAHN: I live in California last twenty years, but first come from Laos. HANK: Huh? KAHN: Laos. We Laotian. BILL: The ocean? What ocean? KAHN: We are Laotian. From Laos, stupid! It's a landlocked country in Southeast Asia. It's between Vietnam and Thailand, okay? Population 4.7 million. HANK: So, are you Chinese or Japanese?
  15. More than 1 lure has looked and behaved beautifully and hasn't worked for squat. More than 1 lure looked and behaved like crap (to us) and works wonderfully. I'm not buying a $50 lure because it looks and moves great, I'm buying it because it's going to catch fish in a manner well exceeding average baits (which are less expensive). By no means am I saying Mattlures swimbaits do NOT work, I'm just saying people should be touting how well they catch fish, not how well they look to us. I haven't used them so I can't speak to that, but so many others here have used them that I would expect the fish stories to just roll in (like they do for the RageTail fans). Yeah, I get what you're saying, the banjo minnow looked great too...but I do not think that a life-like paint job is ever a bad thing. The thing that most impresses me is the craftsmanship involved in making each bait so realistic. The finishes on his baits are probably the most realistic on the market. A bait that looks EXACTLY like what bass feed on (color/patterns) is ALWAYS a good thing.
  16. Well tons of the members here use both lines so we all must be doing something wrong. What line should we be using?
  17. I have about 20 of those things in my backyard that I wish I could shoot...
  18. But action and looks are inherent parts of a bait's ability to catch fish.
  19. it doesn't. Those nicer rods also have warranties.
  20. the last time I felt Fireline it was almost as if it had a gummy coating on it...that wasn't there the first time I used it, is it new?
  21. Aaron, when I went out with that guide in Mattawoman we fished any sort of shade we could find before the tide started going out. When I say any, I mean ANY type of shade, not just trees but shade from clusters of elevated lily pads, raised banks, etc. Then once the tide started to go out a little we fished ambush points like where little creeks or channels met with wider water or other channels. I wish I could show you but imagine outgoing tide as sucking all the water back out of an area, creating a current that brings bait from the back of the creeks out towards bigger water. Just find "current" breaks like abrupt endings in lily pad clusters or turns in the creeks. Of course, none of this will be useful in that open field of grass that we fished the first time out unless you can find some defined channels that run through that stuff.
  22. Doesn't braid have low density (it floats?) and it is much more sensitive than mono. On the other hand, fluoro is very dense (it sinks) and it is also more sensitive than mono?
  23. nah, they were saying something about being rivals because of their proximity. I just looked it up and it was Alleghany. They are a AA team.
  24. Is Appalachia in the same district as Covington? We played Covington one time and I believe there were some Appalachian fans down there at the game.
