NEW REVOS AND PFLUEGERS AT TW
For you guys that get one, let us know how the foam paddles feel. That's an interesting idea.

Whats the point of split grips?
they have less material contacting the blank, that means that there is less stuff that will mute the vibrations of a bite. The result is a LITTLE bit more sensitivity and less weight. I also think they look cool.

Hellooooooo..
is that what he said? I couldn't understand him. I hope that wasn't real but it probably was.

NEW REVOS AND PFLUEGERS AT TW
Muddy brought it up comparing reels, NOT anyone in the Posse! We don't do that anymore. : Oh, I am completely aware of that. The anti-Shimano posse likes to bring the comparisons up and then act like the Shimano posse always interjects their opinions. I think it must be an inferiority complex. ;D ;D ;D

NEW REVOS AND PFLUEGERS AT TW
So far they have the new Revo STX, Premier, Toro Winch, Pflueger Patriarch, President, and Patriarch XT as well as some new Okuma casting reels. I like the look of the new STX but I'm not sure about the gold drag star on the Premier. I actually like the look of the new President more than the Patriarch of the Patriarch XT. I think I'm satisfied with the deals I got on my older STX and Premier.

How do these Revo threads always end up about Shimanos? cart, I think the carbon fiber handle probably helps but also it seems as if the knobs are made of EVA. That would save a bit of weight as well.

Now that is what I call an "inside scoop"

Dom, you should set aside a jar for the money you would have spent on cigs and use it for one of the new Pfluegers or Abus...that is, unless you are too stuck on the round reels ;D

Shaky Head?
I just wish they came in 1/8oz. I fish a lot of shallow rivers and I like 1/8oz a lot.

e2 jigs and cavitron buzzbaits questions
I like the Picasso shakey heads also. I have tried many, many different shakey head jigs and I still have not found the perfect one. I do like the peg style keepers but the Picasso screws are pretty good too. Another that I like are the Owner twist locks.

Some great gun photography

Avid vs. Legend Tournament Rods
Are you serious?!?! I think it looks cool! Yeah, it's a little bright, but I like the color scheme and graphics. At least they're better than those hideous Mojos....

For Cigar Lovers
I like Partagas Black Labels. Don't be scared by the dark wrapper, it's not very full bodied. I also like the flavored cigars by Drew Estate, specifically the Acids. My favorites are the Kuba Kubas

You got a boat? I know where to launch to catch some... 8-)

What a read.
a book written by a guy named Richard Bookstaber...peculiar.

cheater cheater, pumpkin eater. or sign displayer.
That is about a mile from where I went to high school. There is a really good deli in those shops behind him. And just so you all know, that intersection gets a bazillion cars driving past it everyday.

this is just nuts
I know what you mean. That Alpster Custom/51MG combo feels like a feather. I have a 6'9" Zillion with a Revo Premier and a 6'8" GBlank (the lightest of my rods by far) with a Fuego on it. I know what you are talking about with the feel of a featherlight and balanced combo but I couldn't use every tool in my box if those were all I fished.

GY flappin Hog
I wouldn't t-rig it. They are not very big baits and require small hooks to t-rig. Plus, they really don't have too big of a profile on their own. Use it as a jig trailer.

this is just nuts
I would do the same for a few months and then I'd buy a truck and a bass boat and find me some big water. Maybe not just for the challenge, but also because boats are fun.

this is just nuts
Those aren't real swimbaits. I understand that you don't need a reel with high capacity because from what I gather you fish local ponds, correct? So you probably don't need a whole lot of variety as far as what types of lures and techniques you need to use. Those of us who fish different bodies of waters, including large bodies of water, need to be able to throw different techniques and baits, some of which are easier to throw on a big reel with lots of line capacity.

this is just nuts
and 14lb test isn't heavy line.
-
this is just nuts
That's fine and all but don't you ever throw heavy line? You can't throw a swimbait on a Core or a Steez.

Took the BB plunge
plus, Verizon has better coverage...at least in my part of the state. 5bl, it is a nice phone. I really like the keyboard and the touch screen. You can use either to do pretty much everything. I ended up getting it for free because I had a $100 loyalty something or other that gave me a discounted price on top of the rebate. Burley, how do you like the BB so far? My sister's looked pretty cool but I don't think I'd be willing to pay the extra $$ every month. Just not something that I think I would use enough to warrant the price.

Facebook junky?
You talkin' to me? No but the smiley with the afro kind of looks like your profile picture. I think he was referring to the King Of Mafia wars who lives a couple hundred miles north of you... :-X ;D Well he is like the Jesus of MW apparently :-/
