  2. grass, depth changes, shade, boulders, current breaks, etc? Try a walk-the-dog bait in the morning. Then try drifting flukes or senkos with the current around breaks or rocks or into depth changes. If that doesn't work, try a 1/8oz or 1/4oz football headed shaky head jig with a finesse worm (I like berkley and zoom's versions). Any color will work with these baits as long as it is brown or green. Target shade if nothing else works. Smallmouth down there act strange sometimes. One summer I caught all of my best smallmouth just off the bank in fairly shallow water relating to shade and wood. The last time I was down near there I saw three or four BIG smallies just cruising the shallows in the middle of a bright 90+ degree day...Logic would tell you to fish the deepest areas but fish don't always think logically.
  3. not a huge fan of the color (just not my taste) but that pattern is awesome. Very nice paint job.
  4. What time of day have you been fishing? Also, what baits have you been using and where?
  5. Which means you could buy a Revo Premier from SimmonsSportingGoods' ebay store for like $110 once you send in the rebate!
  6. lol @ the people standing there watching you roll by and take a picture.
  7. I was thinking the BPS models, but I guess they look like Pfluegers as well.
  8. what about suffix letters? For example, in the link that RW posted there is a MBR844C. What does the C mean?
  9. me neither. All the numbers and acronyms mean absolutely nothing to me.
  10. I just don't feel like I can get any pressure to a fish at long distance with anything less than 7'. I catch fish, but I feel like I miss a lot.

precisely why I don't buy a game without playing a demo, renting it, or playing a friend's copy. I played the Red Faction:Guerrilla demo and it was very cool.

  15. I dog sat for a big chocolate lab that used to lay around just like that. I was surprised how comfortable dogs are in strange positions.
  16. It should. They have a BUNCH of them listed on their site.
  17. I prefer 7 footers to 6.5, especially for soft plastics or anything with a single hook.
  18. Hey Dan, SSG is the bomb, those guys have great deals all the time, Peter is a great guy and will match anybodies price, no questions asked. heck yeah they are. I got a Kistler Magnesium flipping stick for $90! The first one they sent me was broken during shipping. I called them up and they said they were very sorry and would have another one in the mail the next day. Got the new one and everything was fine. I still have the broken one--they never even asked to see it.
  19. Yes you can. From more than 25' away? :-/
  20. also, you can get the Premiers for $129 from www.simmonssportinggoods.net
  21. where? ***. You must not be signed up for their emails. CHECK IT OUT
  22. The rebate for the glasses says it must be a Revo purchased for $159.99 and up. You also must include the sales receipt with the price circled. The TW price is $139 so no, it wouldn't qualify. It does however, qualify for the $20 rebate.
  23. way to go, dude. Great post.
  24. 5'6"??? Can you really get a good hookset on a worm with that?
