That's exactly what I thought when I first fished the warm side. There is NOTHING in that lake. Besides the occasional stumps, rip rap that doesn't go too deep into the water column, and boat docks there's not much to look at. I think the best bet would be to find some underwater structure.

I saw the same thing here in Northern Virginia. I was in court for a district that has one of the highest per-capita incomes in the country and I saw jeans, shorts, and even one of those short sleeved, button down Hawaiian type shirts with anime drawings instead of flowers....I think the whole state is affected!

Yeah theres no way common sense could helped to be used in drawing that line of black and white. I would have hated to have went to school the next day after a baseball game and talking about some bomb I hit off the opposing team and getting kicked out of school for scaring the some teacher if they walked by and overheard me talking about "bombs". or even jokingly say something like "bust a cap" in the hallway...not that I would, but I know some people think it's funny to use outdated slang...or quote a line from a movie...

But then you get people kicking kids out of school for pretending to be police and a grown up who claims to be "scared for her life" because someone pointed a finger at her... :-? I like to hope that reasonably intelligent (or even dumb, but trained) people can react to certain facts of a situation better than a pre-written policy. Reasonable rules + judgment HAS to be better than suspending kids for stuff like this. I think "zero tolerance" policies are enacted so administrators don't have to take blame from parents or teachers if they have to make a tough decision or make an unpopular one.

But common sense has to be involved. If this violated the "zero tolerance" then what else can? Where is the line? Some sort of common sense judgment has to come in to play.

That picture I posted isn't the one you're talking about? I saw a whole bunch of Matzuo Zen stuff the other day and that was the only swimbait in the series unless they didn't have the whole series at that time.

very true . For some reason I been havin better luck on high tide and slack tide so far this season on the potomac tho. probably just a coinkydink. Headed back out tommorow most likely and then next week off to the cold side of lake anna for 5,6 and 7 pound spawning bass. there have been posts that have taken me 4x longer to read than a normal, legible post. Stuff like that is just a PITA. It's just rude to type like that and expect someone to take the time to decipher it AND then offer to help or answer the question. I just ignore the less severe offenses.

Eminent domain is supposed to be used for the "public good" but now it has been argued that the interests of the public can be aided by private development that create jobs, pay taxes, bring in tourists, etc...I don't like that it has been allowed to include private interests, it creates too much gray area.
